Great video, very easy to follow! One question , when you completed the first side , you put the master cylinder cap back on and pumped the breaks to get the fluid back in there and get the pistons into place . When you started the other side I’m assuming you had take off the master cylinder cap again correct? Then repeat the process when you’re done, same as the first side ?

this is the best video i've found which shows all you need to do to get to the lower intake on the 3.4, which is surprisingly more difficult than doing the intake gaskets for the 3.8. Also, i got hooked into the story and watched the rest of the 20 video saga :). It was nice to see that girl drive away happy with her car fixed up right, and hopefully that crooked shop learnt their lesson

For California make sure the aftermarket Catalyst replacement is CARB compliant (have stamped/laser edge serial # plate) or it will not pass smog check if the technician checks and sees it's not a Cali compliant cat! A bit expensive but way cheaper than those that the dealer sale...

I’ve been reading the comments and a lot of individuals are misinformed! There’s 2 types of Blue Devil Sealers! Yellow label needs the thermostat removed! White label the thermostat does not have to be removed! I used the white label Blue Devil in my 2005 Corolla and it worked to perfection!

I am using your video and so far it has been very helpful. But I am doing the driver side and I am stuck with the door handle mechanism that connects to the actuator. How do I remove the door handle mechanism from the actuator so that I can pull the actuator out?
@CB-ow8ch3 күн бұрын
I hear a hissing noise every few seconds when the AC is on and I am driving. Could this be one of the symptoms? I still get cool air but not cold air. The hissing noise doesn't do it when the AC is off and it also doesn't do it when the AC is on and the car is at idle.

I just picked up a Pilot, the drivers side lock keeps wanting to lock as I'm driving, so I'm sure it's the actuator, I've replaced other cars' in the past, but the little details in this video will help make replacement easiear. You both make a great team, and I'm impressed with the lady reminding you to show precisely what you've done, subscribed to your channel, looking forward to more content. 🤙

Got ripped off by a quick change lube center. After I got the vehicle home I vacuumed out of the dipstick tube enough oil to fill a small glass jar. The oil was so black my brightest LED light wouldn't shine through. $95 easy money for the thief.

When i took the motor out, i used hand tools just like u did and it wasn't very fun, the next day I got a 3/8 electric ratchet and a swiveling joint socket and that made it quite a bit easier on the install. Also, now they sell replacment pre-balanced assemblies that include the motor, fan, and gasket all in one for only $45 on Amazon. Thanks for the video.

HIS TEACHINGS SO FAR, I THINK ARE PHENOMINAL. JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS THE AXEL REMOVAL VIDEO IS PRETTY FAR DOWN THE LIST OF VIDEOS THAT HE HAS AND IS ON A 2011 JEEP PATRIOT. AT THE VERY END OF THAT VIDEO, HE EVEN MENTIONS THAT THE REMOVAL OF THE AXEL IS PART OF ANOTHER VIDEO REFERING TO THE TRANSMISSION REMOVAL VIDEO. IT ALSO APPEARS IN HIS LIST OF VIDEOS THAT HE MAY EVEN BE SHOWING YOU HOW TO REBUILD THE JEEP PATRIOT CVT TRANSMISSION IF YOU DONT WANNA BUY ANOTHER ONE.

Is it a common problem that's needs to be service?
@OnlineAutoRepairVideos9 күн бұрын
No, but they are if you don't keep up with your oil changes, and we recommend changing the oil every 3,000 miles (conventional), or 5,000 miles (synthetic). It's a pretty good design actually.
