I would love to see a game with the visuals , aesthetics and environment of Skyrim, combat of Dark messiah , story complexity of Kingdom come deliverance , gore of dying light and presentation and world design of Elden ring .

The narrative has purpose but it lets you digest the story at your own speed. It doesn't punish you for wandering or getting off task. Also it doesn't hurt that modding support helped the graphics age very gracefully.

It does seem more like someones fanfic than anyone who would take LOTR seriously. I'll give the second season a try just to see if they try to right any wrongs. Many of my favorite series have pretty dull first seasons and really pick up later on.

It’s a violation of Tolkien‘s masterpiece they threw a ton of money but no effort at it.

What did it for me was, I think, at the end of that same episode when the Vast Army of Numenor, One of the greatest armies in the History of the world... probably the largest force of humans ever organized... heads to Middle Earth... And it's like three ships. There would have been a THOUSAND!!!

With Skyrim being my first entry in the Elder Scrolls series when I first played it back in November of 2011, I often wondered if my undying love for this game was just an anomaly. But nearly 13 years later, this is the one game I still think about at least once a week and wish I had more time to revisit, but it's so nice to see that I'm not the only one who feels that way after all this time. Thank you for this touching tribute to one of the greatest games ever!

The part where you said that you thought you were going the side way, but it ended up being the main way really hits. I mean, how many times did I turn back because I found the "side" way too long to be a side way 😂. I remember the times when I played skyrim on the ps3 with all the bugs and crashes, entires minutes just to enter whiterun, and the iron dagger grind to finally forge an ebony armor. It was such a great time on this game.

Knowing about the corruption that led to the sinking of Númenor, it does make sense for those greedy humans to act that way. Also, you clearly don't know how easy it is to change the mind of a mob of idiots. It's not that unbelievable. That last scene was indeed retarded, but I just decided that it was a fever dream that didn't happen, so I could live with it. Never mind... You weren't even talking about the right scene... the one about breaking a rock, that makes all dwarves look stupid. As for criticism, you can't really critisize something when you only watched four episodes of it and a few scenes felt off...

It makes zero sense for the Numenoreans to act in such a way within Tolkien's world. It is a complete perversion made to mirror modern political discourse and has no relevance whatsoever in middle earth.

Skyrim was the first modern (to me) fantasy rpg I ever played. Having started on text adventures in the 80's then moving on to games like Bludgeon, Myst, Dungeon Siege, Thief. No exaggeration to say that when I finally got a PC that could run it, and fired up the game for the first time, I was utterly blown away. Several years on, I still love it to bits. My Steam library is packed with games that I've never played because I love Skyrim so much. True that I've never actually finished the game or even got that far in the major quests, largely because I'm somewhat addicted to modding the game til it breaks. Somehow though that doesn't seem to matter a lot, as the game is such a joy to play even without progressing far in the main story. Add to that the exponential growth in modding over the last few years, with talented people creating amazing frameworks and resources that others then build on keeping Skyrim constantly fresh and interesting and visually fantastic, and I really can't see myself ever getting tired of spending time in Skyrim. One day I'll get around to playing Witcher, Shadow of Mordor, Kingdom Come and all the other games I've snapped up in Steam sales, but not today : -D

I recently started playing around with AI. I've learned to recognize its mark... when reflecting on this show, (I did watch the whole thing, its soo bad... not just the murder of the lore, but the writing in general) I began to see the signs. Inconsistent worldbuilding, meanings changing over time, the hiccupping setups and payoffs, irrational reactions or lack of reactions. incongruous sequence of events... Dude, I really think the writers depended heavily on AI for this. And you can see it elsewhere, too. Disney's Wish, the new Star Wars show, The Acolyte. Willow! (omg that was aweful) I mean, I know bad writing exists on its own, so I might be reading too much into this, but damn it looks a lot like AI... and like the writers feel like they are being clever by touching it up enough to hide the fact, but utterly falling short. Also yea, during that Numinor scene I was fully expecting to hear the southpark: DerkarDarbs!

Galadriel, beside her identity as a crippled fairy elf portrayed in the movie, is basically a strong willed warrior elf in the books. And for me, amazon is giving us the version LOTR as if it is in real life. #1 Will midget women(dwarves) let their beards grow knowing that these fair ladies (elves and humans) find that very weird, disgusting and ugly? #2 Do only white men exist in LOTR? Coz i feel Trump has entered middle earth #3 in the animated series, youll see how the characters really are portrayed. The movie version isnt the authentic LOTR my friends. So dont treat it like comparing quran to the bible.

This game is old and boring now. I don't understand how/why people continue to be obsessed with it. Move on and get a life. It was fun at the time, but never really that good anyway. One voice actor plays like all the parts and its so cliché with all the norse stereotypes. The game runs like shit and isn't optimized at all. You need 10k mods to make it good. It's just like every other lazy bethesda game playing like fallout 3, oblivion, new vegas. All the Assassins creed games are garbage too. Boring wash, rinse, repeat ubisoft trash with revisionist historical propaganda by leftists with an agenda. .

Skyrim freaking sucks. Like seriously. The story is atrocious. The comabt is boring and stale. The colours suck. The role-play is extremelt bad (you don't master magic, you can be the master of the guild of mages, wha the freaking fuck???). This game is fucking bad, stop defending it. People criticize Starfield today without realising it's exactly the same junk as Skyrim.
