The bone dragon is the best because it starts with poison which spreads easily and anything cursed takes 40% more damage, it also has the best build versatility and can make use of any items for that reason. Poison and penetrating shot combine into a very OP breath that usually wins for me, but you can also leave poison level 1 and still poison the boss while going with any other combination you want. The speed breath dragon is underwhelming because speed breath is weak, same with faerie breath The explosive dragon is interesting, but is hard countered on some stages, and explosive breath is a really weak starting breath

Infinity breath is always worth it especially if you don't have boney, the boss seems to instakill on wave 20 So it depends on your dragon, original dragon rush bulk and proliferation Other dragons rush their combos too Don't bother with poison or penetrating attacks if you don't have the bone dragon though (bone dragon is worth it) Go for double-edged sword, attack power boost for your main breath type, walls, and wildcard slot for whatever But MAINLY, focus purely on damage in ranked, ignore survivability for it, also don't take fairy breath or the curse breaths no matter which dragon you are (weak damage from them)

Infinity breath (bulk and proliferation) is always really strong and clears the levels easily so you don't have to worry much about getting walled at the mid boss overall I always go poison breath + piercing fang with the bone dragon, because the breath + fang combo is really strong on its own, and combined with the +40% damage to cursed enemies, it chews through bosses in an instant Overall, I try to stay away from the magic breaths because I haven't had much luck with them, but I'll try playing as the magic damage dragon and see how well it holds up

Thanks! Yes I end up using the physical bonus dragon + infinity breath. But I find that it struggles to clear the front bosses without some magic like either fairy or crystal.. explosion and lightning are definitely not good

You have to beat the first three worlds then the fourth unlocks, at least it did for me

If you're playing the default dragon, infinity breath, with the bone dragon, poison + piercing is always the strongest and will annihilate everything Stay away from speed breath and the other curse breaths unless you have a dragon that benefits from them

It will take a while of playing, to get legendary you just need two purples of that color for the S rank item. You can merge the non-S rank purples into the S-rank (I did spend money on the premium daily pass though for more gems) So to get legendary, you would need two hearts of the white dragon, and four other purple hearts non S rank to feed into them. This means though that for the next rank, you would need four Purple S rank hearts, eight regular purple hearts to boost those four, and 24 regular purple hearts to create legendary hearts to boost the legendary S rank hearts you made to +2 to combine with each other. It's a lot and will probably take months
