How is it possible that a gun can be stretch so easily?

fgs man stop offering the camera the parts, it can't focus quick enough, just ends up being a blurry uncool mess that adds nothing. Nice vid apart from that ;)

I love it. First of all the video is pretty calm and relaxing. Don't know why. But second this idea is amazing! Wish this would be available for european door types.

What sort of strike plates you guys got going on there? It's tough to design for something I don't readily have access to.
@trigger-red-airsoftАй бұрын
@@BrainExploder true! But it is hard to describe in a comment section. Look at German Striker plates. They often have two openings by default for door and lock with openings about 65 x 12 mm and 48 x 13,5mm. But I´m not an expert as well. Also, in old buildings they are often glued and not screwed :|. But very nice product you created!

For my normal airsoft guns, i just run replica optic, but my few high $ airsoft guns, I run real optics. Like on my CYMA M14 EBR, I just have a replica scope, but on my Umbrella Armory OCAW Banshee, I run a real red dot with real steel flashlights / lasers, etc. Just gotta do what makes sense for you and what makes you happy.

I bought a pack of 5 on Amazon and they are plastic. The plastic one gives more resistance when I close the door without turning the handle, and it now needs a huge push and some luck to be closed. Do you still sell the felt-pad version that you show here in the video?
@BrainExploderАй бұрын
New ones are not plastic they are made of flexible and highly durable polymer. We don’t sell the felt variant but we just released a slightly softer option that also incudes some bump stops. It’s the Enhanced Door Silencer. amzn.to/4bfPnkn amzn.to/3VxiObB

This might save my sanity... Real talk tho; would getting rubber bumpers alongside these door silencers help or would it be largely redundant?
@BrainExploder2 ай бұрын
Those help if your door is out of square to the frame. If it is all lined up the built in door jamb pad should prevents the wood on wood noise but if the door is uneven a rubber bump where the door first contacts the frame could help.

Update : After purchasing 2 of these. They work like a charm. The doors are A LOT more quieter compared to the metal strike plate. My biggest concern was whether the part that sticks out on the front of the door would keep the deadbolt from being able to reach inside the hole or rather the door not being able to close all the way, but it worked. I would sell these myself if I could cause I don't think enough people know about this, but if they're like me. Silence is golden! They're dying to discover it. Thank you! 💯
@BrainExploder2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the update. Im happy to hear they fit your doors. Each door frame/hole is different but yours worked well and that’s awesome.
@Jaysnipes2 ай бұрын
@@BrainExploder That's a fact. I have seen other types of doors. Do you plan on creating ones for different types?
@BrainExploder2 ай бұрын
Yeah we are messing around with other types but this is by far the most popular style at least in North America. But the concept is applicable to most variants.

I love this invention. I just bought one today off Amazon. So, I can't wait to see if it works. I feel like this invention here is the answer to those of us who hate unnecessary noise. Door slamming all day isn't enjoyable. Hush bumps only solve part of the problem but it's the strike plate that's the remaining issue.
