Fun fact: Luke Cage was actually going to be a boss battle but was cut. He was exclusive to the evil path. If you used the evil choices too much, the heroes would have enough and fight you. Luke's battle was going to take place in a park. And the battle would end with peter holding luke face down in a lake and drowning him

I like insomniac’s combat mechanics, but compared to WOS they lack fluidity, WOS allows the player to smoothly transition from traversal to combat and the offence was better than any other spider game, I often find the offensive side of combat in the insomniac games a bit underwhelming, their defensive mechanics are great though, I like the dodging and parrying, but they need more variety overall, especially for the symbiote

Pffffffffffffffffffffft. I don't hate anything more than I hate purple black suit in the world. Bruh, why is that change?! Scr** comics!!! I knew the black suit as black because of The Animated Series and it is literally called BLACK. Purple doesn't make sense, and it also doesn't make sense that it has been used in "dark" themed things like dark/black sorcery, something that has to do with dark should be colored black, and purple should only be used as an accelerate the feeling of "dark." Maybe as an "impact." Maybe modders can retrieve the suit along with extra moves/extra visual effects?

So they just delayed the voice lines and have them end by the end of the cutscene. 😂 Also, I hate that the game doesn't have subtitles in the opening cutscene cuz I couldn't understand some words like "gutting" thought Wolverine said "getting" but it didn't make sense as also he was pronouncing it differently than "getting" but like "gotting" but I've had no idea, so yeah.

I hated that I couldn't grab cars with web in black suit. Could be on fire if I could. 😔

The game added more to Electro’s character. Spider-Man’s villains always had a soft spot in my heart. Especially when there are times in the comics you see the more human side to their villainy. Like Rhino, Sandman, even Doc Ock. Though after Superior, I could never forgive him for what he did to Peter.

I don't think anybody realises how much of a time capsule this scene really is. The game was released in 2008, right after the movie "Iron-Man" came out. Before then, the popular heroes were Wolverine/X-Men and Spider-Man due to their cartoons, games and movies in the 1990s and 2000s as well as the Fantastic 4, whose movie came out in 2005. This is why Wolverine is part of the game but isn't heard of in any other future Spider-Man adaptation. The Fantastic Four have also practically been forgotten about since the 2000s. On the other hand, Tony Stark is a well-known hero nowadays but, outside of the comics, no one had heard of him until the movie came out a few months prior to Web of Shadows's release. That's why in the Sam Raimi movies and games, there are no references to the Avengers. The MCU began with Iron-Man in the same year this game came out. I'm actually a 2005 kid myself so, I only found out about this recently but it makes sense when you look back at this scene
