2024 Triumph Tiger owner here: Cons are as follows: No cruise control 1st gear is absolutely useless. Excessive heat displacement from the engine Poor windscreen design Violent wind buffeting 70mph+ Very high maintenance Minimal aftermarket items for 2024 and definitely not 2025 models Tank not steel (Mag tank banks will not work - obviously)

Matt Sandstorm - my favorite color scheme for the Tiger 1200. The green/white looks great but there are too many of them (or rather I've *seen* too many of them). The all-black is nice also, but lack contrast. Thanks for the video - photos don't give me the same total, immediate sense.

Service indicator light is on just like mine. Mine has just over 3000 miles and the service indicator came in. The manual says 600 miles, then 10,000 miles. There’s another 7000 miles to go, so I don’t understand why it’s asking for service. Do you?

There are 2 serious problems with the redesigned America/ Speedmaster The first and worst is the stock seat its too rounded and soft you cant keep your hips planted in one place I recently bought a 2011 Speedmaster and thank god it came with an aftermarket seat the Mustang solo seat specifically With the stocker I would het cramps at the back of my legs just below my glutes on long rides I am 5'10" and have a 30 inch inseam The Mustang seat lifts me up higher ( not neccessary) and moves me closer to the bars ( somewhat neccessary) but most importantly its firm and has a back that holds you in place Bike had aftermarket rear shocks and some pipes that the original owner could not remember the name of ( they arent stamped either) And that brings us to the kickstand/ sidestand which sits almost completely under the left side exhaust pipe The small peg that you catch with your heel needs to be 2 inches longer Its not really a danger because the bike is so low that anyone can flatfoot it , but man its annoying Thirdly and the least of my gripes is the chain guard whic makes oiling a chore All that being said the bike looks great sounds great and handles waaay better than you think a cruiser could The EFI is spot on and the brakes are excellent The 5.1 gallon tank will take you a long way before the Low Fuel light comes on ( approx 185 miles) and it gets between 47.5 and 49 mpg Thers lots to like about thiese bikes but Triumph screwed up things that they shouldn't have That being said some guys have over 100k miles on thiers And these days you can pick up an 865 cheap And 1 more thing if your buddy has a Harley davidson sportster this bike will blow it into the weeds ! 😊 Just sayin '
