Any tips on replacing the serpentine belt?
@mattrandall9577Ай бұрын
10 days ago so you probably already did it...but I just went through this trying to diagnose a squeak and even with the diagram(I still think the one in the manual is wrong) it was a pain. Biggest tips 1. take good pictures of how it's routed. That will be much easier to reference. 2. When in doubt the flat side of the belt goes against the non ribbed pulleys. Just knowing that and working the belt on so all that matched up was easier. I started the belt on the left side as you are looking down into the engine bay on the alternator and then worked to the right. I used one of those auto plastic clip removal tools to give me the reach needed to push the belt on the rest of the way on the right side while loosening the auto tensioner.

Are you concerned about direct connection to an RV system such as a previous awning light that has 12 V wires going to it my question is more based on the fact that the voltage may not be regulated and might get up to 14 V when charging. Wouldn’t that damage those LED lights or do you think the 12 V wires already in the RV or somehow regulated by the battery or converter system?

Ok well those are not key fobs they are remote controls. Your video title "How to program key fobs for lost keys" is wrong. It should say how to program a remote control. You didn't program any keys to the car. LMAO

I assume it’s a compromise since most of these will be used in home garages where space is at a premium without interfering with parking a car. My old Craftsman I’ve used for about 25 years only has 16” deep drawers.

Thanks for the video. Ive been on the fence for 3 months with this box vs US general 72. This one was out of stock the last 2 months. Those short height drawers have me scared off. If my wrenches,pliers and screw driver's can lay flat in thos short wide drawers then im good with it.

@@dwproductions411thank you for checking and for the review. I think I'm gonna to go with US general tho. Finally a video on this box. Ive had my eyes on it for a while now. I have a snap on classic 73x24. But I think this would be so much better just for the simple facts of more space and the stainless top. Yes i could buy a stainless top for my snap on box but im sure it’s probably more expensive than the whole husky box. The price point is just a bonus. I know plenty of people in the automotive repair industry that own husky boxes and they all says they are great.

I've bought 3 Husky boxes over the last 25 years. The 42" roll cab and top box I bought 25 years ago (USA made) was fantastic. The 42" roll cab / workbench I bought 10-ish years ago... "USA Assembled" was OK. What is "Husky" now is garbage! Save your money and buy a Harbor Freight US General or ICON (the modern Husky is made in China like the rest of them).

Hey, thanks for video! I'm wondering if you knew if you have to use the extension rod? I'd like to install this product a similar way that you did but would want it to not be so tall, as it would be mounted to the top of my van roof. Is there a way that the antenna would be able to connect directly to the coupler for the wire to come out, then to the spring/mount? Thanks
