Eddie Cochran died so young. I was lucky to have seen him live. I was 12 or 13. This is such a wonder tribute to his friends.

The constant changes are because they are a progressive rock/metal band. They were the most incredible, amazing, talented band to come from this great country of Canada. But they are done now with the passing of Neil in January of 2020 due to brain cancer. Alex and Geddy have vowed not to continue Rush out of respect to Neil, the man behind those amazing lyrics. A drummer writing the lyrics to their music! How many bands does the drummer write such amazing and thought provoking music! Anyway, love your reactions. The smile on your face is priceless. I hope you haven't gone away. I noticed you haven't posted in 7 months. Hopefully you'll be back to do that 2112 reaction (pronounced "twenty-one twelve", as in the year). It will blow you away. I have really enjoyed this entire series of your insights into this album. I've been a Pink Floyd fan for decades and have listened to this album many times in the past. I have to say, though, that your review of this part revealed many things I had not considered before. One thing of note was the line in Brain Damage "and if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the Moon." I immediately wondered if this might be a veiled reference to the band's experience with Syd Barrett. Also, the very last interview, where the speaker said there is no dark side to the Moon, the Moon is acutally completely dark, had me exploding in delighted laughter. Throughout the album there was a melancholy theme surrounding human experience and human nature, and the troubles that arose in consequence of them. I felt as if these dark themes were being highlighted to motivate us, as humans, to change our base natures and rise above them, thus making the world a better place. After all, if there was a dark side of the Moon, there must also be a bright side of the Moon, where we all could find peace, rest, solace, and happiness having changed our natures for the better. The last speaker exploded that sentiment by saying, I paraphrase, "By the way, if you are thinking of finding happiness, etc. on the bright side of the Moon forget about it! There is no bright side! Only darkness!". I think that was an absolutely brilliant way, if not completely depressing way, to end the themes of the album; and it amused me to no end.

The Camera Eye is one of all time favorites! Give it a listen you won't be disappointed.
