The old ones are classic theyre the voices of my chuldhood kinda. since they were in all dubbed games we do need new talent though and fuuka sounds way better in the remake

i was afraid i was going to hate the new voices because I have so much nostalgia with the original, but the new voice overs sound really good here.

Aa far as i know at first they had five people they taught would be a killer, Yukiko, Yosuke, Chie, Dojima and Nanako(not the meme they really taught about it bit then she would be 2 or 3 years younger than the protagonist), they they scraped everyone but Dojima but realised that would be to obvious so they chose Adachi, who was supposed to be jist a character that would appear from time to time and only have an important role when the killer is caught. Chosing Adachi was the best decision in whole persona 4 timeline I mean the guys whole theme and scenary were used as a base for Mementos in Persona 5.

Yuri Lowenthal is the only voice I'm adjusting to. He's my childhood hero and while I like the Reload VA. I still much prefer his voice. Everyone elses is great.

In my opinion... I like Makoto's old voice more, it's less "Ugh I'm emo" and he sounds more like a teenager Junpei doesn't sound all that different, but I think I prefer his new voice because the acting is generally better than the OG I like Yukari's old voice more. Even though they both sound similar, I think she's a lot more 'sassy' in the original, if that makes sense I prefer Akihiko's old voice, his new one is a little too deep. I will always prefer Mitsuru's old voice, her new one is trying way too hard to sound sexy and mature Fuuka isn't even a question, she got the glow up of the century in Reload Ken's old voice sounds too gravelly, so I think I prefer his new one I can go either way with Aigis, but I think I like her original more Shinji's new voice objectively fits better, but I liked how in the original he still sounded young and didn't have a deep, edgy voice The Chairman's old voice is funnier Pharos sounds more like a child in the original, I like that I don't think any of the new VAs did bad, I really hope this doesn't come off too rude

You do understand that Atlus is a Japanese company? These ideas are mostly western ideals and this is not how japanese people view society or culture. Sure the color and some characters we already have confirmed, but how the get there is simply not how you describe it.

i think they’re really good!! i think they got a slightly better understanding of the characters in reload, as they ironed out some flaws in voices like junpei and mitsuru and completely redid some like Fuuka and Shuji! i also like how they made ken more mature and made aigis sound more robotic yet still human and emotional at the same time. a lot of people seem to have a bit of an issue with akihiko, but i think the deeper voice really fits him and his maturity without sounding as old as some people say (imo).

Aigis sounded annoying in the OG so Reloads VA takes the cake for me

Dojima-san was the earliest candidate for true culprit. I imagine him starting to kill because he believes his wife was murdered and her death wasn't an accident therefore making the murder spree a revenge tale with no good results, and the obsession with killing people would be his desperate need to "do justice" by killing the closest person to the bad guy who took his and Nanako's happy life by erasing the woman he loved so much from existance.

Where is Price?

I had a idea for a awesome new mechanic. I call them, spirit fighters. You would get a spirit fighter once you max out a social link. The spirit fighter would be of that character you max out (except if they were already a party member). You could summon 1 spirit fighter in a battle for a large amount for you Sp. They would act as a extra party member you could use and they would work well to give you an extra advantage with enemies that are basically damage sponges. These members would have preselected weapons and personas that could not be changed. This would add some strategy because you would want to pick the one that would work the best in that battle. This would also make you want to get more characters to max social link so you can get more spirit fighters so you can have more options. They would not level up on their own but instead automatically jump to whatever level the party leader was. Now, these would not be the real characters. But instead imaginary versions of them that only become real because they are personified to be real, like the guns in Persona 5. So this would only work in a game we’re the dungeons are some sort of imaginary. In my persona 6, the palaces would be fantasy’s that the people have immersed themselves in so they can ignore their trauma. You defeated shadows so that these people are forced to face their trauma and to move on.

Both Akihiko and Shinji sound way older than they actually are, they sound like they're in their 30 when they're both still in high school.

Last two i was like.. Whims of fate, Futaba palace or Heaven.. When i saw Whims of fate in second, i did already know that it was Heaven.

Based on the comments it's an unpopular opinion, but the voice cast is the reason I didn't get the game. No offense to the new ones, I'd probably be ok with most of them (not naming who on the off-chance any of them read this) if I didn't have the originals to compare to. That and the "new graphics" just feel kinda flat to me. Maybe it's the color palette this game uses, but the P5 style just didn't hit it for me here.
