You need the Mr x nightmare dlc to unlock roo. It's a cheat code if you have the dlc. On the main menu just highlight story mode and hold the attack button, and then hold up and finally start in that order. Let go of all 3 and select story mode and you will unlock roo. Bruce (the other character) is roos star power move.

An easy way to do this fight is to get a big combo chain at the beginning. Just bomb him a bunch at the start, then while you're falling. Use the fully upgraded dash and dash into him 2-3 times. Then blast him with your laser, then that should basically get you to 60 combo. Then just wail on him sort of getting big chains. I got 1523 from this. And you need 1500 to pass for plat.

I finished 2 divine beasts. Collected 200 korok seeds. Have 20 hearts, 2 3/5 of stamina. Accidentally walked into Ganon’s room, defeated him. Reloaded my save before I fought him. Finished trials of the master sword. Collected misko’s hidden armor…….. and I JUST found out you can expand weapon slots. 💀💀💀💀💀 they should really hint to you for this before hand. But hey at least you become more resourceful with what you USED to be able to handle.

Tip: Villagers will _not_ teach you a reaction during a holiday or event like whenever K.K. is visiting to perform or if a villager is celebrating a birthday. You can only learn new reactions on a normal day only and the villager who wants to teach you a reaction must be outside walking around instead of fishing or sitting down, they can't be inside a building.
