What kills me about GW (where do i start) is that they didnt put the rules for ALL of LI units they knew they would be making in 2024 in the LI rulebook. No...now you need to buy the Rulebook, a Great Slaughter AND Tallern to just to have the stats for all of the available units. Thats $150 you need to spend just to be up to date with all of the miniatures released for LI through July. But that $150 does NOT cover any new miniatures they will make between August and December, which they are sure to do (Legion Specific Units, Legion Consul Upgrades, Primarchs, Sisters of Silence, Custodes, Mechanicum, etc...).

When LI was first announced I rummaged through my old Epic models for some unpainted infantry stands and tanks to try contrast paints on. I found that thinning them down at least 1:1 with medium worked fine. The models were generally to small for the uneven finish to be an issue.

I've been wondering how flyer rules will work. I'm not thrilled with the split fire for ground and air being allowed. But, that's me. I'm eager to try. 👍

@@ArnolddeGans not sure, those who were sent advance copy's were asked to return the rule book apparently it was full of errors. Could be back end of this month or next month.

They look fun. Super useful army too since they fought in pretty much every HH Campaign, save maybe Istvaan III.
