The best tool for small flakes is a gold pan. Pinpointers aren't designed for tiny flakes. Happy Hunting!

These chines knock-off of 90s tech are as good as the 90s tech was. So, buy them ONLY if you can time-travel 30+ years in the past and enjoy.

I agree, you can spend a lot more and get a better machine. For the beginner at this price the MTXR is a great pick.

I'm thinking that only Garrett's are made in the USA. I think if someone can get into metal detecting with any machine is better than not at all. All the best and keep swinging.🙂
