I remember doing a data only run of this game and wow, your run is just you struggling at the bits I breezed through and vice versa. I like how you're like "The Barbamon fight was a pushover" and that was the fight that made me lower the difficulty haha

Any forced Digimon does not invalidate the run. You cannot change it so why would it. It is the same as solo runs of Pokemon when they play emerald and it forces them to use another pokemon

I wondered if these exist after having watched a ton of pokemon ones. Digimon would be so much harder than Pokes.

I tell you more, it is possible to beat main story with bare fists, naked(no clothes, armour or power armour)and without using chems/drugs/edible, no magazines/bobbleheads. No items in inventory at all except those that required to complete a quests.Try this for next challenge

Here is a nerdy suggestion for a challenge run: Play through the game, but you can never own or evolve into any digimon that has ever had a tamer partner. So no agumon, renamon, gomamon etc. There are at least two rookies that fit this criteria.

One suggestion for this run: In the tutorial battle, you can only allow machinedramon to take out the other digimon(If at all possible). You then have to escape from all battles before the eater fight and reaching the lab. So, your starter is never actually used in combat. That said, you only need to encounter a digimon to be able to scan it, so you can still get your digi eggs once you reach the lab, and devolve your starter to training level.

Blitz and rooted would have made this way easier. Add drugs mysterious serum Grognak costume Party boy and Yao Guai roast and you're damn near invincible. With enough alcohol you can bring your luck up to 75 with the 3rd rank of Party Boy.

Can you beat Digimon Cybersleuth, with a team of... Baby Digimon? You're allowed to Digivolve them, so you can increase their Max Level when grinding, but cannot have them fight if they're not baby Digimon and must de-digivolve them back as baby Digimon.

So this is a bit of a long story, but when i made the older videos I was 15-16 years old, I was in high school, while in after school activities and I was working a job on the weekends as well. I just simply didn’t have enough time to make content and focus on other things in my life. Now I’m out of school have a great job and I enjoyed this game and realized there wasn’t as much content about this game as I thought there would be so I decided to make some! TLDR: time and money and lack of motivation.
