Why release the H2O into the base at the end?

It's a lazy approach. So I release it just to get rid of it by the active vent and being able to deconstruct the container. Those like 3 mols make no big difference in the later gameplay as my first priority is to build the rocket with ice mining. After that, I have more than enough water available.
