Once again KZfaq University to the rescue. Thanks for the tutorial. I would have never found that white push here spot without that description. I had a 2x4mm thin piece of carbon fiber stock from an old RC plane that was the perfect tool to slide between the rear subframe pipe and the plastic inner housing. Press in on the barely seen white thing and pop the seat opens. Brand new battery drained in a month of sitting. This anti theft setting must have been accidentally turned on

Me, on my '22 Cub, gave the two finger salute to another bike passing by, not realizing it was a sheriff. He saluted back. That was awesome. A PROPER battery tender is the Noco1. The NOCO5 has a Repair Mode which truly works. Fully charge the battery then enter Repair mode and let run its 4hr cycle. My original PowerSport battery is reliably starting the Cub even in Winter.

Cubs are only Workhorses when setup right. Luggage rack, bag frames (Kajima) and saddle bags (Chase Harper) look good and are extremely functional, a side stand is also useful. I can go anywhere, do anything with my Cub. A sprocket alignment tool is also a huge asset for rear wheel alignment. This eliminates any Hunting on irregular surfaces.
@slam854Ай бұрын
Chain maintenance is a big issue. Do not use spray chain lube, use chainsaw bar oil (90%) & ATF (10%). Button bottom oiler will put oil in the correct locations where pins and side plates come together. Oil both sides of chain & oil every 300 miles. Wipe off excess. My chain looks brand new after 2500 miles. Buy 2 chains and swap every 2500 miles. My Cub is 2019 with 7200mi.

So when the LED on the motorbike is still on, I press the button (either when the knob is in the off or locked position) and after that I long press the key-symbol button on the keyfob until the the LED of the keyfob turns red. Hey duderino, riding a bike without a helmet is a big "no, no". I had 2 accidents, one in '93 where I broke my ankle and one in '94 where I broke almost everything except my head. About 1 year ago I tipped over on my CB750 which weighs 420 lbs and my head simply "tapped" the asphalt, no big deal but if I hadn't had my helmet on I would've cracked my head open. So it's your call but I wouldn't.
