Every prosthetic he's referring to are only the kind you get if you have money. How bout yall show a video on the Medicare prosthetic.

Those are options for Medicare patients. Your prosthetic is determined by your needs and activity level not by your insurance.

Call Ryan on Monday and he will help you find a physical therapist in your area to work with you. You should not be having issues. We want you using your prosthesis. 501-664-2908.

I'm the reason people wear a f o's in their shoes nowadays. I was born with bilateral club feet the most severe case of 1971 when I was fitted for the aaf ozai began wearing them with my brother's bigger size shoes so I could have extra support during physical activity. I never got paid for the idea invention or the new way of wearing afos but I'm glad to see it helps it helps people especially this little Happy kid....

She is below the knee. The best advice we can give you is find a physical therapist to work with. If your not comfortable calling your prosthetist and asking him what PT he recommends, do your research and find one that works with AK amputees. It will make a huge difference. You can also call your orthopedic surgeon or rehab DR and ask them if they can recommend one. If they recommend one in their facility ask them how many AKs they have worked with.

Above the knee or below? Curious b/c I am above knee and I've hit a roadblock where I just can't get going again. I rec'd my 'leg' 17 mos ago (but did not have a temp one before that) but gained weight etc. and am 'stuck'. I've yet to be able to take any steps on my own w/o bars. I do have a Prosthetist but we've lost communication...likely my fault. Best of luck!!

She is a great motivator. She also lost both her legs and was told she would be bed bound for life. She is a remarkable woman. Good luck with your recovery!
