I just purchased this clock at an estate sale, how do you set the red hand calendar?

Probably old news, but FWIW: I was cautioned *not* to move the calendar hand if the time is +/- a couple hours from midnight or it can cause internal damage. Other than that, it's just a matter of moving the hand in either direction as needed to indicate the current day. It will then increment on its own, and you can re-adjust as needed for the months with fewer than 31 days.

Interesting Fact: The T-rex animatronic is working in this video. Legend has it, that every other year they hold Dinosauria at the Detroit Zoo, he malfunctions and breaks down, then is working the next year after that. Go figure!!!

I was just given one of these clocks by a friend, this was one of her father’s hobbies and he had quite a few different clocks of all different styles. I know very little about them. How often do I need to wind it back up? I do know the left spring needs to be wound clockwise and the right counterclockwise. The other thing I’ve noticed is the clock chimes 5 minutes late on both the hour and half hour chimes, is there a way to adjust this? Thanks for any insight

Thanks for watching my video, unfortunately I don't have an answer on your questions, I do not repair the Clocks it's one of my hobbies. I do wind it every 30 days, since it 31 days clock. About correct time, you need to loose or tighten the little bolt on the pendulum located at the end of it. I'm sure you can find this answers online. Also regular oiling will prevent your clock from malfunctioning. You can do it yourself, it's really easy, the oil can be ordered from eBay or Amazon. Good luck!

@@erkdoc5 I never had time to play with it, plus I noticed the springs would randomly bind and lock up, so I ended up finding a local clock shop that went through it and rebuilt the mechanism.

Yes you can, it happens in Michigan (USA) I wasn't charged not sure about that driver, she called to the police. I parked my car far away from her in a case if she wants to argue with me.

Yes, you can! Police officer said that I should stop my vehicle on the side and let her go. As you see I didn't get any chance, I almost hit her. She call the police, I explained everything like it was, but she lied a lot nothing true in her story! I hope one day she'll see my posted video. It was lady between 50-60 y.o. Shame to her!
