I day after i bought my 08 civic it started pissing diesel from passenger side rear.The metal pipe rotted just were its clamped to the body.I had to cut a section and replaced it with fuel hose and clamps.That was 7 years ago.Funny enought the plastic body guard was twisted and out of shape like yours.I had to use a hot gun to straighten it out.

Good video, just wondered do you have to take the arch trim off to remove the arch liner? I've got a mk9 civic, but can't find any videos, no they're both similar. Just wondered if the liner could be removed leaving the trim in situ. Thanks

Thanks for posting this. I followed your advice after getting the battery replaced and noticing engine didn't stop when in neutral. I still don't know whether it has worked or not for fixing my auto stop/start but the process did get the 3 flashes of the battery so I know that if it is n't working I have got to look at other reasons; so one unknown is out of the way.

i found it usefuk to watch after spending last weekend for ages with mine, impact didnt work, shocking with punch too not worked, so i ended uo drilling head off, discs came off but rest of screw still in, them and the other side is a job for this weekend, im trying to soak them few times during week, to hopefully aid getting them out this weekend.

I've been re-gassing cars for 18 years by removing remaining gas, vacuuming the system and then re-gassing with the correct amount from a cylinder which sits on scales. This is the only way you should be doing it. Top-ups are guess work, you will never have the correct amount of gas in your system, and you're likely to damage it because the gauges used with these cans are cheap crap and you'll probably overcharge it. For reference I charge £65 for R134a, and I go to the customer. Get it done properly...unless you don't care about your car?

Hi folks - I need a second opinion please. I have a Ford Focus hatchback 2016/65 1.5TDCI and engine stopped starting abruptly last week. Told by Ford garage need to replace fuel pump (pump costs £800, need to replace Cambelt as it sits behind it apparently, then cos cambelt is taken off need to redo the cambelt as well) and labour so approx. £2500 to get it working again. Is this right? Where does the fuel pump sit? FYI - Cambelt was replaced last year, would I need to replace it? Thought the fuel pump may sit in the fuel tank. Any advice greatly appreciated, thank you
