That actress who played the girlfriend ..I remember her as a catalog model for I think JC Penneys, Mcall's ,Simplicity and maybe even Butterick sewing patterns..My Mom did alot of sewing when I was younger ...

As unique and brilliant as Tracey Ullman is, I couldn't help seeing and recognizing a little Edith Prickley of SCTV fame in this character.

Today, conspicuous wealth and dismissive, condescending attitudes are masked by upper-class advocacy for mass immigration, the EU, globalism and multiculturalism. They have 'adopted woke' as another form of superiority but the patronising snobbery is still there in spades; the same contempt exists for the working-class with its 'Brexit', working-class accents and 'Little Englander' mindset, as they see it. More than ever this divides the UK as sharply as a knife. This short piece is both funny and gut-wrenchingly revolting at one and the same time. Ullman is an amazingly versatile artist and must be a joy to write for; she obviously knows the territory very well indeed.
