I have a Halsey 52 inch UC-1131 ceiling fan with lights that needs a replacement capacitor. Do you have any idea where I might be able to find a capacitor for it? Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Despite how basic these fans are, they’re childhood to me, along with Hampton Bay Huntingtons, Littletons, and etc. We have a two brushed nickel fans that are similar to this one, and they’re original to our current house. They’re made by SeaGull Lighting.

*Great unit that’s easy to install and use. It’s relatively quiet compared to window units and **Fastly.Cool** , and it cools down our whole living room, side room and bathroom; which is a large space for any unit to cool.*

i enjoyed it. I still see this fan moves decent ampunt of air on high. Now if it went 200+ RPM then it would be windy. Cool Fan.

I found a new old stock Chatham fan. How do you know if it's made by smc? Is that bad or good? The model of mine is 261 561. I was hoping it was older like the perfect running fan that is still installed and running PERFECTLY in our livingroom! I found a sticker that dated it at 1986! Wow! It looks identical but no light kit. I found on the box 2001. Bummer! Both fans are antique brass finish which I love. I painted the blades blank and got new globes for it. Hoping my husband will install it in the bedroom tonight!! I've been begging for 2 wks! I'll let you know how it runs. Never out of the box so it should be good. I hope!! We are returning the POS Hunter fan we just installed. It's so noisy!!!!! How can that be!? Hopeful for this Chatham. At least I scored it FREE!!

*Just put it up a few days ago and I am so happy I went with this fan!>>> **nub.best/c2af** It really helps circulate the air and isn't too noisy, just a couple of quiet creaks here and there (but pretty much every fan does that). Definitely recommend!*

*Came exactly as described.>>> **nub.best/c2af** It was installed within an hour and all functioned as expected. Hard to get more satisfied than that.*

*Love these!>>> **nub.best/c2af** Much cheaper than bricks and mortar locations. So glad we ordered these. They have a light and dark side so you can pick your slat color. Looks really nice in our largish rooms. We will be buying more!*

@rabbigabrielbenor67955 жыл бұрын
Nice review but I differ in regard to two items. First, you state it is too noisy. Well, it’s almost 2019 and I find mine (I own four) are very quiet. Second, you opined that the low speed was not moving very much air, and was probably only to be used for decorative effect. You and I must have different kinds of fans, because I was, and am, very impressed with the amount of air that is moved. Exactly because of the aerodynamic shape of the blade, low speed is often quite enough. Medium is used if it is really hot. High speed, still fairly quiet, is usually overkill. Also, I live right next to the ocean, and with my first fan being 4 years old, nothing has yet rusted, broken or failed. Quality is good.
