Se ho visto bene alla fine della rasatura prima crema idratante e poi after alcolico. Io sono abituato a fare il contrario. Sbaglio?

Ciao Sergio, no assolutamente no, non sbagli. L alcol disidrata, usando il balsamo rimani con la pelle bella idratata. Io faccio al contrario perché mi piace l effetto alcolico e il profumo, sempre se ho bisogno della crema, a volte il post shave é talmente buono che l after alcolico é abbastanza 😃

@@brodyberry6253 I took a package of scotch brite heads in many grits from Amazon, inside there are like 300 on different grits (red,green, gold and black), these are for sanding. For polishing you have to take those white polishing heads. There are hundreds of heads, with many functions, after you take the tool you will understand which heads you need!

@@samuraishaving Ok i found what you were talking about they really do look like different color scotch bright. I just got a 77 pack it has those and the white cloth or cotton ones too. Thanks for the help man, i just got a crown & sword online the other day and want to clean it up a bit.

@@brodyberry6253 be careful to your fingers as well as the blade. Keep in mind: -don’t overheat the steel -don’t use rotatory tools with the blade in your hands, the head could grip on the blade breaking it, it literally flies so: use this things with the blade lying on a flat surface or a still object (like an anvil) and use protection goggles! I talk by experience, I broke a very rare razor 🥲

@@seanstapelfeldit is but I use it as a pre-finisher. It gives a lovely edge but I prefer the green jade for polishing. You can take a white and a green from AliExpress for 40 usd circa. You need to flatten them with a 1000 diamond stone and then you are good to go. P.S. They are sold as oil stones but I tried them and they work better with water imo

ciao ti seguo da poco e vorrei riaccendere la passione per il rasoio che avevo intrapreso ma siccome non sono buono ad affilare, ho accantonato. Con cosa devo creare il sedimento che chiami slurping se ho detto bene 😂 ps ho una combinata 3000/8000 prese con un rasoio su amazon penso sia buona per affilare le asce e ho delle pietre del mio bisnonno che mi ha lasciato nonno ma le quali non riesco a capirne la qualità e tipologia.

Lo Slurry si crea usando la piccola pietra che danno in dotazione con la combinata (si chiama bout) oppure con delle piccole pietre diamantate di diversa grana, di solito fine o extra fine, le puoi sempre trovare su Amazon e vengono vendute in set da tre, di solito una verde, una rossa ed una blu! Sei fortunato ad avere delle pietre “anziane”, ma sarà abbastanza difficile determinarne la provenienza, prova a scrivere in qualche gruppo Facebook pieno di gente con esperienza sull’ affilatura e sul mano libera, puoi provare a mandarmi le foto su IG ma non ho una conoscenza così vasta, ho iniziato da poco 🤣

So, it depends on many factors: - the steel quality, hardness, edge retention - how you use it - how hard your hairs are -what kind of finish you gave to the edge On me a razor edge lasts more or less 5 to 8 shaves. I noticed the ones who keeps the edge like crazy are Friodurs. This is really subjective though, you should borrow one and see how far you go with an edge!

There is no best but there are preferences. For me these that I m using: naniwa set in combination with Jade stones. I’m using a Cordovan leather strop and I find it to be great!
