At 21:07; There's "Minors". ;-) I'm surprised, when you turned into the Valley Mall you didn't take an edited break at Minors (I would have)? ;-D When you took a drive by the Valley Mall, I was reminded of my short time working Security at the Yakima Mall.

I grew up there, until sometime after graduating from Eisenhower, then came back after about four years at NDSSS trade school (auto mech, auto body), then moved to "Greater Seattle" (BOEING). ;-) Ah, yes on Yakima Ave, from the "Freezer" to the Freeway and back and I miss having a "Big Minor" burger. ;-D What or who would you find between Naches Ave and Front St (or 1st), a block over north from Yakima Ave? It's a shame its fallen on such hard times, I remember as a kid, picking apples and cherries with my sister and cousins, then working at Whistling Jacks (Elk season) and "Chapter 11" (when it first opened).

Nice small town! I lived a few years right down the road in Sheridan and three years in Hebo. Lot's of my Dad's family moved to Oregon in the 20's and 30's. No one left there now but a couple of cousins as old or older than I am. Oregon has changed so much since those days when I was there, but the beauty is undeniable.

Lived there, actually in Metolius, back in the mid to late 90's, pumped gas at the old leathers station and worked at Keith's manufacturing up on the hill going north from Madras. It's crazy to see how much that podunk town back then has grown.

Omg! This is my home town! It hasn't changed much, it still looks so much like it did 35 years ago! You drove past so many places I once knew! You even drove down the little dirt road that goes under the railroad tracks! That's where my evil step dad used to go to buy drugs in the mid 80's...(may he rot in hell!) Anyway thanks for taking me down memory lane! It made me smile!

At 0:43 (and also at 23:15) you see Stanich's at 49th & Fremont. After 70 years and numerous scandals, it closed about five years ago and it's now "The Mule" (opened after this video was made.) At 1:28, you see the big "Portland Oregon" sign on the west end of the Burnside Bridge. It used to say "White Satin Sugar" and then it was changed to "White Stag" to promote White Stag Sportswear. After a couple of ill-advised experiments in new signage, the City of Portland acquired the sign and turned it into what you see there now. (The stag outline never changed.) The Burnside Bridge itself is scheduled to be closed entirely in 2027 for a 5-year-long seismic retrofit. The gentrification of the Mississippi/Alberta/Vancouver Avenue loop that was driven is pretty obvious. Portland's traffic lights work in a way that a green light is given simultaneously with the other direction getting a red light. In most cities, there's a delay.

@@kermit1 lol, went there on vacation like 3 months ago and all I seen was homeless, druggies, graffiti everywhere, garbage, needles on the ground at the grocery store, traffic is awful, rainbow flags are rampant, and the slow driving and the tailgating is ridiculous, and the people are the rudest in the country, lots of unhappy people in Seattle homeless people are living in baggage claim at the airport. lol I dont watch the news I sen it first hand

@@buttdreads yeah, you watch Fox News alright. Like I said, stop watching Hannity it pollutes your brain. BTW why would you go on a vacation to such a dump? Don’t you bother doing your research? God you’re a fool.

I wonder what are the traffic penalties here in AZ for failure to use turn signals? I’m sure Jersey is hefty on that and some states. I heard at least maybe one time the guy or gal used it. Not other times. Why though is I wanna ask? If anyone wanna attack me on this channel chat, go right ahead. Come at me full swing if you think I’m a turn signal conservative. I proudly stand by it and disapprove people not using a god gifted utility in one’s vehicle, for SAFETY AND COURTESY PURPOSES!!!! 😡
