The lying by the Snail rep was just par for the course, to be honest. GP(former moderator for Ark) and others covering this all agree too that the rep completely confused ASA with ASE when he stated that. Those calls are just complete bunk. Company is in a freefall to me. Their gross profit is from the mod microtransactions but they're still struggling. Player base now is lower now than at any other point in the existence of ASA.

Automation should always be a QoL feature in games, not a dlc. In a game like Ark having automation is handy when you're offline since the server keeps going without you. It would be extremely unfair if you fall behind because someone spent money on what should have been available to everyone. But it's also Ark so I'm not expecting it to work well in the slightest anyway

I think the automaton will be a good thing, if it helps do some mundane tasks like fertilizing the garden, putting the items in the fridge, making kibble providing you have the stuff there, or even crafting stuff as long as you have stuff there. Those kinda stuff I hate

It is a KO of Palworld hey!! Like my graphics card just failed and I had to buy a new one so I could run Ark: Scam Ascended now but it does not fell like Ark.. it does not look like Ark.. at every turn you are expected to pay up for content so you can play the game and be equal with everyone else.. I have been told the official servers are unplayable with cheaters & hackers all wanting to steal stuff to sell on their grey and black markets.. you play with the likes of Tea who use their GM Accounts to ensure you lose and they win and now the player base is down to around 10,000 people!! I am happy renting my own server(s) in Ark: SE and playing the real and genuine game before the crook and grub Chinese ruined Ark as a game!! I have an idea.. how about the crook and grub Chinese pay back the $1.3 Billion USD they nicked off with that bankrupt this game and franchise and they pay the $1 Million USD their wife is on back into the game and its development so it will leave early access and all the issues + bugs get fixed!!

So it seems the bot is Orionsun's ASE S+ automated base NPC's but just moves around. I hated Aberration as well and in ASE though people claim its the favorite, it really wasnt in the top 3 maps for servers as memory serves.

I am tired of the whole pay to win complaining. I want more quality of life things and more content, power creep is natural and necessary. No one half as much complained when it was tied to maps, I think the DLC pass is comparable and generally great, fairly priced and good for the game & players. While I don't like the idea of individualy paid Dinos the pyromane was a great quality of life dino and I do feel safe about the president it sets because it is tied with the free maps and honestly I wanted more from the free maps. For additional context, I have very little money to spend so the p2w thing would bother me if it was a real problem (even with the Cad currency exchange BTT and the pyro were cheap and the only purchases I've had to make other than the game) and am still critical of wildcard for delays, constantly changing their content map and statements, the game being buggy ect.. But can we please just be excited about new content without complaining about it being p2w or problematic every time. I had to buy the game again too but keep in mind it will only be getting better with time MOSTLY free of cost so the value proposition will only increase. Let's not kill the game we like by making everyone think it shouldn't be supported and always giving negative feedback to anything the company does. For the record I still like your videos just wanted to give my perspective and get this off my chest 🤣 Ps: I do hope snails has to sell the Ark to a better publisher for the good of the game.

They then turn around and tell them they want more money for the product that you have already rightfully purchased. This company has lost me as a player in any ark game from here on out or anything that this company produces. I don't see it being P2W. It's taking the monotony out of harvesting, repairing, etc. which is great! Now if it was wielding dual tek rifles and attacking people/dinos within a 100 meter radius of your base... then yeah!

Adding content to ASE is genius, a majority of players (at least on steam) are still playing ASE. So they make a new paid DLC/map for ASE. Then "remaster" it for ASA and say it will be free, but then charge ASA players full price anyway later. Double dipping at it's finest.

Through the week the servers are a ghost town on ASA. 10 or less players on pve servers and 0 on most pvp servers. Even on 2x weekends it never goes much more over 30 on pve.

Remember this.. Pocketpair made Palworld in a UE5 with a world that is massive in size and runs better on our existing hardware!! This is what was promised with the UE5 upgrade that we would end up with a UE5 version of Ark that ran better on our existing hardware!! It was all a lie!! What Pocketpair did as indi-devs the drity devs and crook grub Chinese behind Ark failed to do!! They also killed the game that made them when they dev-wiped 20,000 official servers and lied to us about the SaveGame Nitrado servers!! Like once you loaded the SaveGame data on one it instantly had massive issues and problems and then after 24 hours those servers started to crash and fail constantly!!
