So why do people say it’s not painful? It’s no good telling people it’s not painful when it is! AWP I heard say this, and it made me angry, but I understood why he said to a mother whose son had been found drowned in a car!

The more ways to die i see and hear about opiate overdose truly seems like the best way to die over all accidentally or purposely. Just is sad when someone dodnt want to die but still a way better death than most ot us will have. Similar idea to how deer shot by hunters are the lucky ones of ot was a clean shot compared to a slow death by age or disease.

As a person who is highly suicidal at the moment, this is not going to be the way at least… my female best friend killed herself like this 4 years ago and for some reason I felt that she died a peaceful death, so that’s why this felt as a way for me to go as well. But this video changed my mind. I am heavily in therapy and under medications and I’ve been trying all I can for the past 4 years. But I’m running out of power, for now I am still trying, but slowly I feel myself having these moments and episodes. No one knows about it, and nor will I tell anyone about it. Not even my therapist knows it goes this deep, because I don’t want them to call my parents for whatever reason.

Maybe you should study stoicism, philosophers from ancient hellenistics culture in ancient greece, they made me realise how our life isn't necessary meant to be happy and good , some have it more easier than other and enjoy a good social life and doesnt have to deal with the constant miseries life can throw at anyone given any momment. Luckily you can use your lifespawn to study and educate yourself and allow your brain to learn knowledge. Our lifes as human are very shorts, you should try focusing on enjoying things our ancester might would have crave about us ( easy and safe food supply, electricity, hygiene, access to information ). We will all die one day anyway and it will be a return, a return toward death that no one can escape, there is no hurry to die untill then because you can die at any momment anyway, im using my short time as a mortal human to understand the universe we live in. And for now we are the only known creature than can do so in our solar system and maybe our galaxy, that is gift in its own.

@@mathieuguay9907You really don't know how mental health disorders work. Try and educate yourself on that. Then you'll know how ridiculous your suggestion to enjoy electricity, etc., sounds in a case like this.

I have gone underwater and I couldn’t get back up But I’m ok :/ It feels suffocating and like you can’t do anything to help yourself even though you have been trying for ages It almost feels like you get this moment of clarity and then it gets ripped away and never comes back Or that’s just me

@@susokie A detailed comment I got from Quora, didn't happen to me but that person is very lucky to have survived that Q- what does it feel like to drown? I held my breath the best I could and scrapped my fingers trying to find the wall, but I sunk deeper and deeper, the pool was so deep the pressure popped my ears, and my ears were burning from the chlorine and the other chemicals that made me feel as if I was burning When you drown, your instincts tell you to kick, to jump, you're so desperate to get to that surface, you're acting as if you're running. You really can't help it. It's so frustating beacuse you know you're a lost cause, and you're in a constant state of panic. You're gagged by water and you can't scream, they can't see you, you're way down too deep, you can only pray that they realise something's wrong. But you have to wait. And waiting is the worst part of Drowning Eventually, your lung start to burn. You're desperate for that sweet taste of oxygen, you want to go home. You keep thinking you can breathe, you're in absolute denial but you just can't breathe. You start holding your throat, your mind is haywire, you can't swim you want to stop yourself from inhaling, and the pressure makes it feel like you're exploding. Eventually, your lungs give out, and you take a deep, deep breath. You're desperate for satisfaction, craving to breathe so desperately, but you just feel the water fill you and make you heavier, you feel the weight of it clog all your orifices. Try sticking your head on a bucket. It's hard to explain but the weight of the water just.. hurts so badly in the end. As I inhaled more and more water, I began to feel really dizzy. Then calm. I almost left my body, it felt like I was waking up from a deep, long nap, and I was still on the after-effects of it. I was on the pool floor now, too weak to do anything, and I was just so calm. Death didn't worry me, wich is weird, beacuse I'm terrified of dying. Your vision starts to spot and you start to hallucinate, there's no oxygen in your brain, so ofcourse you're going to hallucinate. Eventually, you black out. The last thing I remember is having my chest compressed and lips pressed in CPR, Then throwing up a whole heap of water. People said I was really, really disorientated, and I was at risk of drowning in the water in my lungs, so I was whisked off to the hospital. Drowning is a horrifying experience.

I drowned this past July and had to have CPR performed on my body. I was at the back of the boat and my feet got tangled in the anchor rope and I fell overboard head first with the only thing out of the water were. my feet. Since I breathe through the orifices in my head and not through my feet I started to drown. The boat was tied to a dick and I was the only human being on the boat or dock so no one saw I was dying. I tried to get my head above water so I could breathe but 5he way my body was twisted and my feet tangled I couldn't do it. I held my breath as long as I could but my body took over and I opened my mouth and my lungs started to fill with water. My lungs burnt like hell and I went unconscious and then my heart stopped. Iluckily someone saw my feet sticking up and saw the bubbles coming out of my nylon windbreaker and pulled my body out of the water and saved my precious body from death. I was crying when I opened my eyes because I was so scared and so happy at the same time. Because I was alive. My feet were free and my heart was beating , my lungs were working , my ears could hear and my eyes could see. U didn't think I'd ever use my body again. I was so fucking scared. I have a tiny skeleton so 2 of my ribs were broken and it hurt like hell but better than dead ribs. And since my jacket was made of nylon, it dried super fast and kept my body warm so I was happy for that. I would have been dead 3 months already. It's so scary to talk about being dead, drowning was horrifying and the thought of my body being dead scares the hell out of me.
