Thanks for the comment. Ras Gas is not an octane booster, it's concentrated fuel. Do your research.

@@raidenperformance9875 again you dont gain power from fuel itself....in a can, bucket, drum, or from a pump Period. Except maybe E85 or fuels that cool the chambers, but again, if you go from 93 to E85 and dont tune it up all the way then you wont gain anything. Its the tune, not the fuel.

What if i have 16 gallons of gas do i have to add 4 cans since 1 can treats 4 gallos or 1 can will be good enough for 16 gallons im running the purple can that makes 110 or 112 octane or adding too much will raise the octane level

What octane do you want to blend to? What octane is the pump fuel you're blending with?

Nice work! I wish I could dyno my truck (2021 GMC Sierra AT4, 6.2L). The owner's manual calls for 93 octane for best performance. I run 91 octane (hard to find 93 in my location). Whenever I do fuel up with 93 octane...the truck runs MUCH better with more power/torque. I bought this "Race Fuel" and added about 1/2 can to the 20-gallon tank (91 octane). Holy smokes...this truck "woke up". Power is significantly better (like puts you back into your seat when launching and downshifting). Acceleration is almost "sports car like". Using this Race Fuel + 91 octane is BETTER than running 93 octane alone. It is one really quick truck now. I do have a CAI and Magnaflow J-pipe exhaust system too. The truck's computer obviously throws some timing in when sensing the higher octane. Again, how much more HP? Without a dyno, IDK. But, my non-mechanic wildAss guess would be about 15-25+ HP gain with just the additive. Maybe more? All I know, is that this works on my truck because of the way it is set up and designed for premium fuel. Other engines would likely not see as much gain because they have no timing, lower compression, and not designed to run anything higher than 87/89 octane. What do you think?

We agree. Engines that have low compression and are designed to run 87 octane will not see high gains or any gains at all. Of course, the best way to know is to use a dyno.

2 stroke oil can raise performance of gas in a four stroke engine. Can also add mileage. Performance/H.O./supercharged/High compression.

Hmm I'm not convinced. 50 to 60 GBP for a 10hp increase?? Why not just use shell optimax and crank up the boost?

Untuned yes, but tuned it was 60+ gain. So def worth it

50 to 60? You are being ripped off lol I pay $40CAD a can, that is like 25GBP. It definitely works, but it requires a built motor to get all the benefits. It is much easier to find regular or premium fuel (87-91 octane) and add RGC than it is to find a Shell that offers Optimax. They could/should and would probably still use the RGC to the Shell Optimax since the country I live in only offers it in 2 provinces, I would have to drive 3000+ miles to find a Shell station that has 93 octane Optimax. It's much, much more realistic to purchase 91 octane and add RCG, and again even if there was a 93 octane pump I would still add RCG to get 105 octane. It also does more than boost the octane. Why not just add RGC to Shell Optimax and crank up the boost? Hahahaha I still order VP 110 to my door whenever I can justify buying a large quantity (the vehicle that I use the race gas in is a motorcycle and it only holds 8 litres of gas 😆)

93 will do good in your engine. If you have at least 38° total timing in it.

I just put a quarter of a bottle on my 10.5 compression civic (using 87 octane), makes the car feel better and use less fuel, also got rid of detonation on steep hills.

When you tune for the race gas are you still able to run on pump gas after?

If your car is tuned for racing fuel, then you should not use regular pump gas. Using pump gas in an engine with high compression can increase your chances of detonation. Also, if you don't have a good tune, your engine will fail. If you have different maps on the ECU so that you can switch to different types of fuels, then you should less likely have a problem. There are a few factors that come into play when using racing fuel. These factors include compression ratio, naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged.
