@@Jeevanmn sorry I don’t know of any rf tamron lenses atm. I have the ef and it works great. It’s just a little bulky with the ef to rf adapter

What lenses do u use in this video? I also have a canon rp but I’ve never shot videos on it. I wanted to buy me a viral canon g7xmark3 to make vlogs, while I’m travelling or maybe Sony zv e10 where I could change lenses but when I saw your video I definitely think that just an iPhone for vlogging and my camera for showing location and outfits would be even better

Hi Daniel, Nice vlog and very nice shots. Since most of them are shot in bright sunlight, did you use any ND filters? If so which one? Or maybe these were shot on higher shutter speeds?

Excellent quality as expected and nice story as well! Thanks for showing the R8 does so well and looks really good with the downsampled image from 6k. I have many questions (sorry) because i am very interested and in the process of buying stuff like you. Were you at 15mm most times and with digital IS + lens IS on? Thats what it looks like anyway. Were you with a tripod or hand holding? Also did you end up using it at 15mm with enhanced digital stabilization on? Did you also get any sort of cage or the canon grip extension or battery grip? I know battery life is poor did you get more batteries then? I really like Canon systems but i cannot stand the terrible IBIS wobble in the R3 R5 R6 R6ii etc and i want to get into them so of course thankfully the R8 does not have ibis but still shares that amazing downsampled image from the r6ii otherwise have to step up to R5C. I also will be buying the RF 15-35 2.8 tomorrow or the following day after saving up and i cant wait! I figure when and if i ever outgrow it i will simply look higher like R5C but whatever that may be in the future as far as model with no IBIS unless canon really reinvent their current stabilization style. Thanks again for sharing and if you reply this is a great video. I appreciate it!! p.s. Was this all in CLOG3 10-bit or was this one of the standard profiles 8-bit? Also The slow mo portions at the event you attended was that HD 180 upscaled? thank you and again sorry for 300 questions

Thank you for the kind message! I really appreciate it!! I filmed everything in 4k c-log and used the neutral phantom lut to colorgrade. I also didnt use any in camera, (digital) stabilization, I only used my RF 15-35 lens stabilization which I agree is a huge plus since I also hate the IBIS haha. I filmed everything handheld, no tripod. To he honest, I originally bought the R6 mark ii but returned it because of the warp IBIS when filming. I highly recommend buying the R8 because it’s basically the same as the r6 mark ii. Only downsides to the r8 is that it sometimes overheats if youre in direct sunlight and the battery is smaller but it doesn’t bother me since I’m getting so much out of the camera. Hopefully this response helps you out!

Awesome! Thank you so much for the detailed and quick reply. This is exactly what I did as well buying the R6ii assuming I would simply use it with enhanced stab on at 16mm with the cheap prime lens and get the 15-35 2.8 if it was good but that wobble! Returned that immediately lol. Trade offs on the R8 seem very just for the price for sure. Thanks for the info!
