I have had my SBGW303 for a month now and would say it is as described here. In reality it is, as others have commented, simply fabulous. This watch might appear a little plain in a shop window, where the light and positioning may not be ideal. (I have also seen two examples in windows not tagged as being Limited Edition) However in the hand and on the wrist this watch comes to life, different light emphasises the texture and the range of shades of green of the dial, and of course the polishing of the case, hands and indices simply makes them shine. The applied gold GS logo also highlights and compliments the dial very well. I find the size extremely comfortable, and accuracy so far is excellent. I still have the watch on the bracelet, which I think is absolutely fine, though I expect on the supplied leather strap the watch will look even more stunning.

Grand Seiko needs to have a smaller men's watch 37mm case diameter and just 8 - 9mm thin (not 13-14 mm thick).

Great video! I don’t understand why more brands don’t do this. It gives so much more meaning and value to a watch when the design principles and levels of craftsmanship behind it are explained.

Not complaining abt clasps n bracelets cos I think its a little overly dramatized. Own n love the SD Midnight Blue, u guys doing great on all departments except the sports models, it's way too classy 😂, how about some out of the box rugged designs 😅

in my opinion the everyday Seikos for the average Joe is far more important than the marvelous pieces from Grand Seiko. The only thing for Europeans, the watches should get wider around 42mm-44mm mesured without crown!

I'm the proud owner of an SBGE255 spring drive timepiece. I cherish looking at the sweeping second hand, gliding along the perfect dial that only Grand Seiko can produce.

That Genbi valley dial is to die for. And the angular case and colour of the Tokyo lion is just pure watch porn.

I recently bought an SLGH013 from a trip to Japan. Saved a lot of $ buying it there and it's an absolutely incredible timepiece.

I have a Seiko Sport Mechanical watch bought almost 2 months ago. The only problem is that it runs 2 minutes faster, and most of the mechanical watches have these issues.

Seiko has turned into a fancy watch brand over time. Overly expensive watches for accuracy ? Meanwhile Citizen and Casio bringing out gems for the common people. A kinetic, mecha quartz Seiko with these features is still the best option. Don't turn into a fashion brand please. Remain true to passion.
