I have three different BCA rifles. After some personal tweaks. They are as functional and ACCURATE as a standard shooter could want. I enjoy my range days with them.

You gusy are among my most favorite gun companies ever. I really want to see your name and products being recognized in the gun community more. I think those who are unaware are missing out on a lot. A sadly, hidden gem. I'm up to 2600 rounds through my 300blk 10.5 side charger from you guys, and never a mallfunction from the gun (couple steel ammo defects is all). Also, 300 is my favorite caliber. So I'm bette r8.6 will be my new favorite. I WILL be getting one of these guns soon (gotta close on a new house etc soon).

556 in a 223 has nothing to do with the gas system or gas tube. It's the chamber pressure and case pressure. 556 cases have a longer throat and a thicker wall to accommodate the extra pressure. Kind of scary that a Firearms manufacturer can't explain the difference properly

Still trying to figure out why the BCA is a full $1,000 more than the Great lakes GL10. After handling both in person there isn't a lot of difference as far as quality goes in machining it and finish. Great lakes comes with a stainless barrel versus your carbon barrel. The other question I have is why the hell has everyone came up with this five round magazine. Should have at least been 10. Plenty of space to do so. I understand the magazine would have to have a curve to it. But five rounds is kind of just sad for what this is.

So I bought a side charging ar and when I went to go put some rounds though her the side charging Handle broke off and don’t know if it’s a simple fix or what? Does anyone know about this

Great review. 👍 I would only clarify that the "straight wall cartridge case" restriction applies ONLY to hunting. And applies ONLY to hunting deer in most of those states. Many of those states will allow the use of bottleneck cartridge for hunting varmints or small game, but not for deer. It is a _hunting regulation,_ not a restriction on the _ownership_ of firearms chambered for bottleneck cartridges. Always check state hunting regulations before going out in the field.

Nice presentation. I have probably half a dozen full rifles and several more than that uppers from you guys. I'm in Johnston County, about 45 miles from you. They've planted a $400k+ housing development on almost every spot I've been hunting for 25 years. I have a Creedmoor from you, but it's overkill when I don't have anywhere to take a shot past 200 yards anymore. I have two Grendels and one (maybe 2) 7.62x39 from your company. With good ammo, even from an SBR, both are quite capable of deer at 150yds, much further with the Grendel. Both are Smaller. Lighter. Softer shooting. And at the possible ranges for shots in the swamps and across the few agricultural fields left, they're on par with the Creedmoor & 308. Looking to pick up an AR10 lower from your company as soon as I have funds in hand

I own three BCA in three different configurations. All required a few tweaks to satisfy my particular standards. All are now " mission ready" kit. Accurate as YOU can shoot and realiable.

I've have a BCA 7.62X39 right side charger for two years. It needed a Black Rifle Arms enhanced firing pin and heavy hammer spring to stop light primer strikes. And don't use lacquer coated ammo. They melt and glue rounds in the chamber and broke the ejector. (BCA replaced it FREE). USE brass ammo or steel, and it runs flawlessly.

AR-15 9mm, 40cal and 10mm were not mentioned. I have a 9mm and 10mm upper as well as 5.56, 7.62x39, 22lr, 450 Bushmaster, 50 Beowulf, and lastly 300 Blackout (didn't keep it). All of these uppers, I put together and are working 100% of the time, with the same lower.

300HAMR is conspicuous in its absence.
