Fascinating and so very different to where I live. I was particularly taken by the adjacent Churches. There must have been some money about to construct them, back in the day. Also, well done for getting to 1k subs!

Thanks Andy and glad you enjoy the history stuff. The church in general was enormously wealthy back then and we get more evidence of that in the 3rd part of the ramble. Cheers Rog

Very original and has spawned a couple others to produce videos with similar content in their area of living. Glad you can continue getting back out to your bike. My energy is coming your way to assist with your progress to getting back on. I was faced with a possibility 2 years ago, that was challenging to return. So I understand your position.

@@old-n-Goldie ....thanks rog.....does the clock still fit now you have fitted the riser?
@old-n-Goldie6 күн бұрын
As the instruments are moved up and out a bit, the clock was obscuring the view of the bottom half of the little control pannel light unit on top of the headlamp. I just had to modify the bracket I'd made that mounts the clock to the underside of the instruments to move it back a little. Now everything is in clear view.

Just looking at these really like the green/ legacy version best. What’s mod’s would you recommend firstly, hopefully you’ll heal well and be back on your bike soon
@old-n-Goldie12 күн бұрын
Personally, I think the bike is pretty good 'as is' and I would suggest just running it as standard for a while when you do get one to see how it fits you. Having said that, for me the suspension could be improved and I have posted a video on my channel about fitting upgrade units. I also thought the clocks were laid down a little too flat so fitted the Moore Speed mounting bracket kit. There's a video about this on the channel as well. There are now a number of accessories available like exhaust systems, luggage, tail tidy etc so you can customise it to suite your needs. Be interested to know if you do end up getting one, and what you end up changing. Cheers Rog

Another great ramble with historical interest. I’ve been looking at trying that Far ings route in Barton. I sometimes call at the Cafe on the riverbank in the park whose gateway you turned round at. For reasons I don’t know, have never been to the bike night. Have seen stuff on KZfaq & it did look good & as you say very busy. Had to laugh at your V Max tale. I suppose that explains riding an old Harley, lol. Hope the recovery is still going to plan & you are back tinkering & riding as soon as possible.

Thanks Martin, I've been to Barton many times but it's the first time I've used that route and first time to Far Ings. Glad you liked the V-max tale, must say it was a bit of a turning point for me but I do get more enjoyment from my riding now. You see much more when your bimbling round the back roads.
