Milner-Skudder had such a small window of prime rugby, imagine how hed be without injuries?

This is missing a ton of tries. If you are going to say every Wales try then you are missing loads from the womens squad. Say mens or get it edited

Ask yourself how many times you heard "Willie Le Roux!" in this sequence.

He was electric when he was younger making breaks left and right and now as he's older he's criminally underappreciated as a great playmaker

And the award for the most ridiculous try goes to . . . . . Derek Hougard trying to impersonate superman, but in the end just managing to look like a complete and utter knob!! This must rate as the most poofter try scored by a springbok, EVER!!

first 5 minutes just gave me nostalgia for the last team of the wallabies that was actually good. the 2015 was also a good one it was just lacking talent in some parts of the field but it was a good job from Cheika considering he had like just 1 year of coaching that team and made them land on a RWC final

Very well calibrated history of our World Cup 'adventures' and calmly delivered. Of course your insight into the future (2023 World Cup) - now the past - was faultless. You are absolutely right; in the past, both fans and media expected too much and oversold the teams. However, despite the over-eagerness amongst the media and fans in sensing progress going faster than it truly was, the evidence clearly is that Ireland are constantly building. It's slow! - but it's methodically forward in momentum. We are not a Nation jumping wildly up and down the rankings from 9th to 2nd to 8th to 3rd etc etc. There is a robust continuity through the decades. Still quite a way to go but more young players coming in all the time, better development processes, more professional-standard coaching earlier in the lives of young players.....; the mood should still be buoyant despite the QF exit this year.
