The story behind it is that my older son was a big MJ fan so my wife and I bought it for him for a birthday or Christmas gift back in 2017. I told him that if he ever wanted to get rid of it, he should come to me first. Not too long ago, he did just that. Not sure what I’m going to do with it but I love the card.

I’m absolutely new to the sports card game so I can’t even gues at how much a lot like that would be lol. I just stumble across your channel this morning and I’ve watched a couple videos so far but I like how you do things so I’m going to definitely watch more. I do have a question though. I’m new to sports cards, I have an eBay store but cards aren’t normally my thing. I did buy a small lot of about 2000 cards off of somebody trying to get rid of them but most I think are going to be from the 80s or 90s… so I don’t have much hope. When you guys get large lots, what do you do with the 5, 10, 15,30 cent cards?are they just garbage material? I cant really find anybody talking about that. Sorry this is so long.

Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you stumbled across the channel. I would be happy to do a video on this in the near future. Unfortunately, most cards from the late 80’s and early 90’s were so grossly overproduced that they have very little value. My local card shop pays about $1 per thousand for these cards. If there are star players, you may be able to break out those cards into lots and sell them that way. Most shop owners will tell you to either sell the box for $20 at a garage sale or give them to a kid. The only other idea I would offer is to sort them by team and sell them in team lots. I’m not a fan of that era of cards because they were so over-printed but would I buy a 50-card lot of my favorite team for $3-$5 at a local show? Yeah, maybe. I hope this helps.

I don't put stickers on my dollar cards. My dollar cards are in a top loader. My sleeved only cards are 2/$1 - and that's it. Any higher priced cards go in their own super box and those get their own sticker prices. I do like your method though and might try to save money on top loaders. OH!!!! and I bought some small plastic boxes as Walmart for $1.24 and they hold 200 penny sleeves perfectly, have a lid and they stack. You can also use them to put a ton of sleeved cards in to sell as a lot or transport. Then they have another size up that will hold top loaders perfectly and also stack.

You put on an amazing show! I don’t know if someone was citing you or just their own thoughts but I heard it put best - nothing about a card show in Shipshewana, Indiana should work but it does. It’s clearly a testament to the relationships you’ve built and your hard work. I grew up in a small town called Charlotte, Michigan. My parents’ back yard backed up to an Amish farm. We never had a card show there. 😂

I will take another look at that. Looking at some sold listings on eBay, I’m also trying to see if it makes sense to grade it. If I put $30 into it and the value only has potential to go up $30, I’m better off selling it raw. What do you think the card would be worth if it got a SGC 10?

I like that David Robinson\Hakeem Jersey Card, really nice. I also love what you did with the $1- Bin, how can you go wrong for $1- and the funny thing is by the time you got home that $1- you forked out is now worth 90 cents, lol. I also loved that Jarren Jackson Pink Ice Rookie, the Grizz seem to be on the upswing. I also think all of those numbered Cards you picked up were solid value. I myself love The Hobby and don't really worry about the prices going up so I love perusing the Bargain Bin. I would have bought that Luka Card despite the Edge, still good value. Thank you for posting this, I enjoyed watching.

Nice rip!!! I'd say that football was a lot better than the others. Hold onto that jeremiah Owusu-koromoah card. I am a huge fan of his and he will be, in my opinion, a top 5 linebacker.
