Thank you for the 870 20ga video series. I've always been a 12ga guy, but I'm making the switch. I picked up a shurshot 20ga stock set on ebay. Gonna get one of the new Rem Fieldmaster Compacts for it soon. Cool little guns. Yours turned out awesome. Thanks again for the great info and inspiration.

Haven’t tried tss yet because i stocked up on regular federal grand slam lead loads but once there gone im definitely going to give that tss a try

10s shoot awesome out of mine .385 choke.

I ended up with Jebs XX full and #10s with mine. Got couple different brands of 10S to try this season

What TSS has done for the sub gauges is just crazy! I can't wait to get mine on a tom this spring!

I saw this at bass pro and wanted it but I already have a mossberg 835 and beretta a400. I still would love to see if this one is worth the hype and is as much fun as everyone says they are! Let me know what you think.

J! You are absolutely going to love this set up! Don't over look the choke that comes with it, it may work for what your need is. I have a Patternmaster Code Black Turkey and a Jebs Headhunter, both throw ridiculous patterns with Turkey Nijas and Rogue. It is crazy what TSS has done for these sub gauges.

Them little 410’s supposedly do a good job with tss, im sticking to my 12 gauge though

I have damn near the exact same setup, bergara ridge 308 with leupold vxr 4-12 308, it’s a hammer.

I have the same gun and same choke but I use apex small town hunting blend 3 1/2” and have a really tight pattern at 50 yards and still have plenty of pellets in the kill zone at 70 yards. Yeah should try this if you haven’t already

Just used my b14 hunter to take a nice non typical muley, that rifle was smooth sighing in and didn't let me down when it came down to taking the shot.

Cool! I also own a B14 Hunter Wilderness in 308 Win. Love the way the rifle feels but it gave me some problems with feeding bullets from the magazine into the chamber at the range last week. I need to look into it a bit more but the rifle feels awesome. Really comfortable, not too heavy, length of pull is good and the recoil pad does a good job even though it's only a 308 Win.

Don't see many people using those bore sight tools. Tip in case you don't do it. I have one of the first Rem 700 Sendaros I purchased when they were first introduced in the late 90's, 25-06 with 26" heavy barrel. I worked up loads for it, ended up with a 100 gr. Nolser ballistic tip. Using that bore sight tool, I used graph paper to mark the zero at 100 yds for my records along with load data. I have not hunted in many years, but today, I can remove the scope and reinstall, set the zero back per the paper graph chart matching bore sight tool and it will be perfect with those same handloads. I used that method with bore sight tool if I hit the scope and wanted to check zero but didn't have time to shoot it prior to hunting. Been thinking about getting a Bergara 6.5, still hard to beat the Rem 700 Sendaro 25-06. I have not shot that rifle in 4-5 years, took it to the range a few weeks ago and it still shoots a 5 shot ragged hole at 100 yds off a bipod.

My Bergara Hunter in 7mm-08 never shot well for me with the 3 types of ammo of tried. I know they are accurate because their reputation is too good. The accuracy issues and the bolt hanging up on me on a whitetail follow up shot was the last straw. May try one in the future but they are too close to Tikka's in price for me not to take a Tikka after the Hunter experience.

Look into Meadow Creek mounts for ribbed shotguns. You can mount a red dot to it and set that 870 up right.
