My local Bunnings, if you try to get a staff members attention for some assistance, they pretend to have not noticed me and walk away instead. Happens almost EVERY time, and that's if you actually find a staff member nearby in the first place. They're good at hiding when not walking away. Should one actually find a staff member, don't expect them to show you where to find what you're looking for, they'll grunt an isle number at you, and then expect you to go find it yourself amongst all the overwhelming volumes of stock there, it's almost like looking for a needle in a massive hay stack.

I've never understood why Bunnings, being a hardware shop, has a section called "hardware". Literally everything in there is hardware! (Their "hardware" section is actually a fixings section.) They also can't spell, because all their signs say "thru" to gardening, "thru" to cleaning etc. The word is "through"!!! They don't put things in logical places, either. Last year I went to Bunnings to buy a bundle of star pickets. It turned out they call them something else. Being used for fencing, they should have been in the fencing department, but they weren't. I found individual pickets out in the gardening department. Of course the cheaper bundles weren't with the single pickets. There wasn't a sign telling anyone where they were either. I had to ask a staff member who told me the bundles of pickets were on the complete opposite side of the shop in the trade section! I was only there to buy a bundle of five start pickets, not one hundred of the things. I'd hardly call that a "trade" quantity.

I remember me and an old British guy waited to be served at the trade counter. A bunch of bunnings employees come in and sit there working out who shall do what, with many trying to tell each other like they were ALL the boss. They ALL WENT OFF and us 2 were left there, STILL NOT SERVED. Waited 45 minutes to buy a single bag if quick set concrete for a porch post. So if you ever wonder WHY your builder us late, THIS IS WHY.

Bought this thing to help clean gutters & naturally twas absolutely useless, returned it & explained, the toothless crank said well it's used you can't return it.
