Man that tempeh looked so delish i wanted to bite it lol Were those completely dry soybeans you used(I mean let dry before putting in starter and in bags) or did you use them while still wet? Cheers

It's an invasie species in the gulf coast of America, especially Florida and Texas. When green they taste like cucumber, ripe red ones a more like a soft sweet red pepper.

That's a creeping cucumber. While the salad looks delicious, be cautious when eating the black ones. I would leave those out. They have a powerful laxative effect.

The problem is in some part of the world, no one can even find nor buy tempeh, let alone its starter. So, in this situation, what can we do? Can we cultivate tempeh starter from scratch sans using any tempeh nor its starter?
