I happened to see your video randomly in the home page and watched it too. I felt I needed to comment on this. Nanima is awesome & cool 😎; she doesn't care about what westerners think or for their approval, or anyone for that matter, unlike you. What is more disgusting is giving reactions like yeww, yuck without knowing any knowledge about or listening to Nanima or why people are practicing it? Cow dung keeps all sorts of viruses away from the house, which is why they clean the front of the house using cow dung. It's science, not just mere belief. And cow dung is the best manure for soil; it has the capacity to turn even waste land into an evergreen forest if used properly. Cow urine has a whole lot of healthy benefits for the human body. That also protects us from numerous deadly diseases, but a prejudiced mindset will not allow you to look at it. What is more funnier is that you would consume any modern allopathic tablets, but if you happen to know how all these medicines are made, which is way worse than cow urine or cow dung, for that matter, it's a very common practice everywhere in India. Take it south, north, east, and west. In those days without the internet or telephone, all this stuff was carried out for all the people, and people also followed it and benefited too. Instead of realizing how tremendously they conducted their daily lives and built such mind boggling temples and cultures, stupid people are disgusted with their own culture and people. I thought the boomer generation made it worse, but I think my generation is way worse than the boomers. At least learn 1 or 2 things from Nanima that would be helpful for your health and your personal life. Looking at and caring about what people would think if I did this or that, you're just ruining your life. If you don't even know your culture, trust me you will be good for nothing. Send full love to Nanima😘🥰🥰... Adios amigo

So much misinformation.. probably a staged video.. i have never seen anyone drinking cow's urine in person.. and cow dung is used to mop floor of houses made of mud in villages and used as fuel.. uttter nonsense.

Only 39% of Indians are vegetarians. Beef and pork are consumed in certain parts if South India and North-East India. There is diversity everywhere in the world. ❤

If you haven’t, you might want to look into code switching. There’s a few different types of code-switching, like in linguistics it’s usually used for switching while in the same sentence or group of people, but there’s also the version where people speak and behave differently around different people based on a variety of factors that may or may not be shared between them and the group they’re with. Sometimes it’s due to oppression, like when marginalised people try to sound more “palatable” in a job interview or in a setting where they’re in mixed company and there’s a pressure (intended or not) to conform in order to be seen as “respectable” or to be accepted. Sometimes it’s just because you use different tones and words when talking to friends versus talking to your parents versus talking to your coworkers, and it isn’t a sign of anything being off, just that different people are different. People often pick up on each other’s speech patterns or mannerisms, and might reflect that in their interactions with that person. But it is also a very common thing to happen, especially in the context of having any marginalised identity in the society they’re in. I’m probably not explaining it super well, there’s some great TED Talks about it and other fantastic resources about it (for once, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend Wikipedia, the page on it focuses about the meaning in linguistics which is interesting but not the whole picture of how the term is used) but you’re not alone in this experience!

Some of us are from the background of Mughal culture. We are this culture except the prostitution and pimping. II can assure you Heeramandi is not accurate it is stereotyping and caricature. Bhansali could never get it right, he is not from this.culture. Bhansali says we were not there. Some of us live this culture, this is our history, we were there and we are here. He is not.
@monicanath4859Ай бұрын
Very well said! Bhansali also misrepresented Devdas which as a Bengali I can say wasn’t at all historically accurate. Regarding the Mughal culture I can totally agree that there was a lot of respect for art and culture, and unfortunately Bhansali didn’t show anything about the composition of a dance or discussion about the Raga of a composition, such as other films like Pakeezah did. Also the ladies dressed very decently and moved coyly and spoke with respect. This is my understanding!
