Now I see why so many daleks have water pistols fitted.

The top section of the prop is not aligned with the skirt properly, can clearly see the overhang at the rear. Mind you during the Doctor Who series the BBC production team rarely bothered with such details particularly during the 70s and eighties many of the on screen Props could be seen to be not assembled properly as well as in poor condition and very often poorly operated.

Look at how smooth it moves. Perfect speed for indoor navigation

It continually amazes me that fans can make their own Daleks that are almost identical to the Shawcraft (and beyond) versions as seen on TV. This is a beautiful Dalek, absolutely stunning; I can only imagine how great the BBC Daleks would have looked if they had been made anew for every story. By the time "Planet of the Daleks" (1973) aired the Daleks were looking a little worse for wear, but this looks like a Shawcraft creation fresh off of the shop floor! If I rounded a corner and came across this build, I'd stop and catch my breath for sure. Congratulations on a truly amazing creation. By the way, was the ring modulator automatically synced to the lights or did the operator have to press them in time with their speech?
