Time After Time was a hit for Sinatra in the 40s; he sang it in the film "It Happened in Brooklyn" (1947). He re-recorded it with Capitol in the 50s. I don't know Jimmy Scott, but I suspect all this gushing over this performance smacks of disingenuous virtue signaling. This is a simply awful rendition. Give a listen to Frank, Ella, or others who have covered it.
