We are the corps of giants ❤, corps we love 💕😘. I am so excited about this year's corps, as a member of the alumni from the late 70s and member of the corps drum line staff in the 80s. This corps is family and is home to anyone who has ever worn the uniform of the one and only Boston Crus 3:12 3:12 aders and we have been here for over 84 years and we will be here for another 80 years introduction of the modern drum corps

Congratulations on being selected to be a drum major for the corps that's made of giants, the one and only Boston crusaders 😊

As someone with a friend contracted in BAC currently, I have personally seen how important a position it is to be a member of this Corp, and how much it means to every member. Congratulations to Marielle!

@BFlatMarching as an alum of this corps I can tell you that this not your typical corps. Their history and what they went through to survive in the 80s and 90s and other eras makes them the most unique corps that still exists.

There is nothing more that I love more than this corp. It is my dream to march their tenor line when I'm older ❤❤❤❤

Uniforms are too distracting from the drill! Too many colors making it non uniform. Yes I am in your corner, hence my statement. And props on the strong amazing brass/perc advancement in the last years. I remember loving you in '99 or so and have enjoyed seeing you rise in recent years. Bringing my son to see you in Denton after his first year playing French Horn in middle school. Any chance you could give him some special experience?

Just curious -- as a drum set player, I'm not that familiar with marching drums, but aren't marching snares insanely loud? When I see videos like this and the performance at the end of this clip, the sound is so much quieter than I would expect. Are they playing on some kind of low volume heads? Cool video!
@CrowT14 күн бұрын
I mean, yeah, a snare line is inherently loud. Not always depending on the music. I always wore ear pro when I played. Not sure of any "head" they use to get the sound down. They were made of Kevlar material when I marched. Certain sticks can be used like for indoor percussion shows. Dynamics can always control the volume. They may have cooler stuff now, lol. I marched in the late 90s and early 2000s.

I love people who express an opinion or comment without having seen the entirety of what the production has to present to us. Boston has known over the years, to present us with very beautiful productions and I do not think that this one will be an exception. Looking forward to hearing and seeing this 2024 production. Have a good summer Boston Crusaders
