It looks usable and inviting for the new owner to have a wonderful time in! We were 96° last weekend but in the high 80s so far this week. AC is on and I’m watching you garden on KZfaq! 🎉😅.

Your homeowners must feel so relieved once you are done. The changes are always remarkable. I think it would be encouraging if you left them a potted flowering garden plant somewhere in the landscape, as if to say . . . "Here is your starter garden, now carry on."

Hello Martin! I enjoyed your new intro. 😊. I understand about the heat; yesterday, here in Missouri, our high temp was 97 degrees Fahrenheit with a “feels” like temp of 101 degrees!!!😮. It was miserable outside. I enjoy the cooler temps so much more! The greenhouse looks so much better!! Take care and God bless you and your family! Sincerely, Diane 😊

Hi Martin. I don’t envy you one bit for being in this heat. When we get a beautiful day of sunshine it’s so intense. I can’t remember a day where the wind hasn’t been blowing yet as soon as the good weather came in it’s disappeared. The seasons have merged into possibly three seasons at most. I live fifteen minutes or so from the coast in Cornwall yet the just seems to be no soft breeze anywhere. Not that I mean it to come across as moaning it’s just so strange to me how the weather has changed since I was a kid. Plus in Cornwall we have the highest water rates which makes it difficult with watering the plants. Every drop of grey water counts. I shall miss seeing the hard work you do in this lovely garden when the new owners take it on. Well done, you’ve really brought it back to life in the right way xx

Hello Martin, I am glad you finally made it into the greenhouse. It does look a lot better! And they have a nice collection of recycled pots to start using it. The milky glass will filter the sun a bit, and it can be cleaned when the cooler days come. It remembered how to rain here, now it can't remember how to stop, and I miss the sun. At least when its raining its warmer than when its frosting. I hope you didn't suffer too much from your hot day under glass.

Martin, I would like to have a greenhouse but that would be another thing to take care of. Ivy is such a invasive plant. I planted it under a maple tree where I had made a stone border. It killed the tree. I tried cutting it off the tree but it prevailed. It has been extremely 🥵 hot here. I can only work outside in the morning until about eleven. I bet it was at least ten degrees warmer inside the greenhouse. It looks good now. 😊

My husband is the same about cooler weather. He's from the Central California coast, he grew up across the street from the Pacific Ocean, so the summers on the California coast always gets overcast gray skies, it gets pretty cold and the hotter it is inland, the colder it gets on the coast. I grew up in the Los Angeles area, it got overcast also but it cleared up and it was warm but not too hot, luckily. Most of the towns cities near the coast, the homeowners don't have A/C, that's how the older homes were built because of the sea breeze. We moved two hours inland in a central valley city, a lot cheaper homes lol but it gets up to 105° F..Yikes! And of course we turn up the A/C. Most of the coastal cities don't get as hot and near the mountains it's not too hot either. My husband loves going on vacation during the winter. Where a lot of people go on vacation (Holiday to you) during the spring and summer. We take long road trips to different states that have all the snow. It's beautiful and seeing all the mountains covered in snow, the Grand Canyonf looks beautiful with all the snow draped all on the cliffs and all the other national state parks are amazing. Plus, a lot less tourists and hotel rates go down lol..he prefers cold weather, I just don't care for the gloomy gray skies and after we married and I moved to Cambria, we lived in a cute home by the ocean where he grew up, we had an ocean view and hear the ocean waves, but I hated the daily gray skies and wearing a pullover sweater or a light jacket during the summer. I use to drive east to another central California town just to feel the sun! Lol.. Btw, in Cambria, California, there was a really good restaurant called, The Brambles. And I used to live near Hawthorne, CA., on Hawthorne Blvd. And we lived on Norfolk Ave. in Cambria. California has a lot of names from England 🙂..I forgot, my husband is taking me to San Diego to make up for all the winter snowy vacations! A nice resort and a big swimming pool 😂

I like your channel mate, you do a nice neat job. being a red head with pale skin I can sympathise with you on the heat front. Except I live in southern NSW Australia It commonly gets to 45° c in the summer probably averages around 36. I do gardening as a bit of a side hustle. One summers day I did three gardens 40°…..for shits and giggles weighed before I left home. Took 6 litres of water with me, drank the lot, and weighed when I got home I was 2.5kg lighter than when I left after consuming the 6 litres. I’m with you not a fan of the heat lol

SWEET! I'm soo happy to see you tackle that little greenhouse. 🤩 In the state it was in, it muddied your fantastic garden tidy ups there. It's an ittle bitty thing, isn't it? Glad you trimmed behind the shed, because it was going bonkers! I think about all of the castles and manors about the UK that for centuries allowed Ivy and Climbing Hydrangeas to dig deep into the buildings exteriors. Granted it is STUNNING, but it would be a full time job just to keep it all wrangled. I see many gardeners removing it now, so that the structures can be repaired from the damage. SIDE-NOTE: I watch a guy, Ben Saunders of Flawless Cleaning, who's been restoring gardens and homes (for free) and showing up-close what the Ivy damage has done. He is doing a series right now for the lovely Jim & Jean (oh my I want to sit with the 77 year old Jim and have tea, biscuits and hear about his life!!) What a joy it is to see Ben and his cohorts work to give Jim and his disabled wife a total refresh. He has done another series as well with Norman and Peggy... such awesome, inspiring work. I cry at each one. Sorry not sure why I rambled on about that, but what he's been doing , what you are doing, makes my heart smile. (kzfaq.info?search_query=flawless+cleaning+services) Wow, all that for "Ivy"! 🤣 As for the Climbing Hydrangea, we had it on our brick fireplace for at least a decade, but realized the damage it was doing. I'd had the 3 back surgeries and just couldn't keep up. I wish you could have seen it though! We had a stone face hanging within the leaves. I think I still have a picture of it somewhere... I feel for you trying to work in 81* weather which is bad enough, but working inside an oven of glass, retaining that heat to I imagine nearing high 90's couldn't have been fun! It was a good tidy up! Boy, I'd love to putter around inside there, on a MUCH cooler day, that is! I'm a whiner when it gets too hot. I love Lakewood (just south of Seattle), but the weather has become much hotter thanks to climate changes. We used to be Maritime weather, much rainier, but now it is not surprising to hit well over 100* 😳. Often. Well, Martin, I apparently missed seeing your smiley face and blathered on enough for 8 of your videos 🤣 I was so happy to see one this morning, that I had to get a coffee and some lunch while I watched. No interruptions allowed! I have to do the same when I watch Ben's videos too! (@FlawlessCleaningServices) You 2 are my FAVORITES!! Well, I hope you are well. Stay cool!
