Sorry you got scammed, but I’d say $30 isn’t bad for what you got. A few months ago I decided to teach myself how to know the difference between, so I bought one on eBay (paid $65+), and one I knew was real. Loungefly puts a stiff foam protector in the front pocket, never paper, and lots of paper in the main compartment, not a bubble bag. The horns are set wrong, and a real Loungefly wouldn’t be so misshapen, they are more stiff, but overall yours doesn’t look that bad, better than the one I got. I returned my fake.

Thank you for sharing this. I found one on eBay for $55, vs $80 on Amazon. I’m aware the heart logo on the plate generally indicates it’s from before Funko, but my eBay one is really misshapen, the metal plate pushes into the pocket, which makes the top of the pocket wonky. So I also bought the one from Amazon to compare, and I have a lot of Loungefly backpacks, so if my eBay one isn’t fake, it’s got an awful lot of bad flaws. The entire front is crooked in several spots, the V’s (Thank you, I had not noticed that, only that something looked off). Interestingly, the horns were a little nicer on the fake in some ways, and they aren’t annoying to get around like the real one. But otherwise it’s a mess. The color is darker, squishy, no nice texture.

I legit think mine is real but some stuff like the front circles and the green texture are similar to the “fake” one. Plus, mine is the old version one.
