Not actually 'The Vinelander'. Simply a rake of N and S set cars, that likely never travelled to Mildura. Fortunately I travelled on the real thing so I have no need to pretend and pay mega$ travelling on a substitute train to Mildura.

Good video ! but i still say this is a Waste of a service. you can see there is hardly any one on the train !! i can see at lease two cars with stuff all passengers !! the price is killing the pepole too Exspensive to go by train !!!! 🚂

Gday this is paul from Adelaide. Nice video but sorry to say !! they should get rid of this service. Every time i see video clips of the overland Adelaide to melbourne or vv. There is hardly Anyone on this train & always 5 carriges its so bloody Exspensive to run this train !!! These locos go through a shit load of Desiel & the Fares are not cheap also !!! 😥😥

I remember travelling on the Overlander in 1989 Adelaide to Melbourne via Ballarat......in second class, at a cost of 34 dollars.

i am really shocked to see so many pepole on this service today !! WOW usually the train is half empty !! the only way to get more pepole on this service is to have Special fares on the overland to melbourne or to Adelaide !! 😂
