Sir I have a question but not related to this scenario...That is can the graph which shows maxwell boltsnman's distribution intersect at zero. Kinetic energy 0 molecules are 0, but kinetic energy is zero when in 0Kelvin. So There can be particles with 0 kinetic energy in 0Kelvin. So some people draw graph intersect at zero some shouldn't...What's the correct one sir ? Can you please explain this sir by a reply...😭

This is an untidy hodge podge of a discussion. At 21:21 screws up Faraday equation and writing Integral of B*dA or Magnetic flux = 0. Then says that proves there are no magnetic monopoles.
@lecturesbywalterlewin.they925921 сағат бұрын
*Magnetic monopoles do not exist but that has nothing to do with Faraday's Law* As far as the discussion about KVL and Fardaday's Law is concerned, please read the folowing if you want to get educated. In Dutch we say *"zachte heelmeesters, vuile wonden".* *I owe it to my multi million viewers to explain in detail why Electroboom is dead wrong.* *Many people make the same mistake that he made.* *All this is at the very roots of a correct understanding of Maxwell's eqs. I therefore have an obligation to set the record straight.* *This is my last msg.* Don't feel embarrassed if this physics is above your level; you are not alone. Non-conservative E-fields are not taught in high schools. I demonstrated at the end of my lecture #16 of my 8.02 E&M course at MIT that two identical voltmeters attached to the same 2 points in a circuit can show very different values. kzfaq.info://kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pK2BlaRjz93Ph30.html This can also be demonstrated with a transformer. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mJ2ZZdh-3Z3LeKM.html *In fact, look more closely at my circuit; it is a transformer. My closed loop is the secondary winding (only 1 winding) of a transformer and the primary windings are in my electromagnet.* The reason is that an induced EMF (Faraday's Law) creates a non-conservative E field. This means that moving a test charge between the same 2 points in a circuit can require a different amount of energy (even with opposite signs!). You still aren't getting any energy for free, because it comes from the source of the time-varying magnetic field. When a voltmeter reads a value V it means that the integral of E dot dL across the voltmeter is V. In cases where Kirchhoff's loop rule (KVL) applies, 2 voltmeters attached to the same 2 points in a circuit will always show the same value. Kirchhoff's original text can be found in the following link, pages 497-514: books.google.de/books?id=Ig8t8yIz20UC. Clearly he was fully aware of the prerequisite for his "loop rule". KVL is a special case of Faraday's Law. That's why Faraday's Law is one of Maxwell's equations and KVL is not. My demo was first suggested and published by Romer in December 1982 in the American Journal of Physics. This demo has now become a classic; it's done all over the world at many colleges and universities. *ElectroBOOM and Dirk Van Meirvenne believe that 2 voltmeters attached to the same 2 points in a circuit must always show the same value which is not true.* It's quite embarrassing that they each posted a video on their channel in which they claim to have proof for their wrong ideas. Also read Professor John Belcher's thoughts on Faraday's Law and on KVL. Professor Belcher is my former colleague at MIT. freepdfhosting.com/0813df09f5.pdf *ElectroBOOM insulted me in his video by mentioning that the reason why my 2 voltmeters read different values was due to "bad probing". He stated that if I had done the demo correctly both voltmeters would have read the same value. He could not have been more wrong.* The following video may also help you to understand why 2 voltmeters attached to the same 2 points in a circuit can give very different readings. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/reCPetSAkrvWm2g.html

Can you please prove ampere's law from biot - savart
@lecturesbywalterlewin.they925921 сағат бұрын
Ampère's Law is the magnetic equivalent of Gauss' Law. This can be derived from the Biot-Savart law (if you're interested in how). We'll create a path around the object we care about, and then integrate to determine the enclosed current.

My dear Professor you are absolutely right. As you said the “passing grade does depend on the past history of the family”, but not the way you intend us to believe. General category student, inspite of excellent performance and for no fault of his, is given a raw deal and denied a seat just because of the “past history of his family” . But a certain category of students are given a seat in the college despite their appalling performance just because of the “past history of the family”.

Thank you because there is your contribution in it too to teach.

Hello Professor Lewin! I wish you all the best and want to thank you and your KZfaq channel for something very special. I remember how about 7 years ago I saw this birthday video that caught my attention. Very quickly after that I found your physics courses on KZfaq and pretty soon after that you posted physics problem number 1; about the rattle back. These physics courses and problems inspired me to study and I finally ended up at Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland. I studied machine automation engineering and I can happily say that now 7 years later, I graduated today with good grades. I know that I did the work for graduation myself, but the spark and inspiration to start studying came through your KZfaq channel. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart because my life and the future of my children is now in a really good situation. Many thanks Professor Lewin! I appreciate your work and your channel very much! Also, I wish you as many birthdays as possible :) Best regards, Kari from Finland.
