This dude essentially got struck by the bolt on its way through the ground. You never know where it's gonna travel through the ground.

I was running on the beach in S.Venice Fl. and I dove into the sand as a bolt of Lightning struck in the water next to me,my Guardian Angel saved my life that day there was an oval circle of glass where the sand was struck near the water about ten feet away!
