Freeze-frame at 0:32, immediately after the extremely bright flash goes away, you can see where it struck on the left, where the bolt traveled to (the flame near the storage boxes on the right) and if you look very closely, some flames between them, and right at the foot of the man who ended up falling over, indicating the charge moved from left to right. This dude essentially got struck by the bolt on its way through the ground. You never know where it's gonna travel through the ground.

1 question: why do open outside things 45 degrees completely? And why do you close the caps again? They should stay open till Spring.
@Timberlinelandscaping7 ай бұрын
Thank you for commenting on our video! As a professional company, we follow a winterization process for our irrigation system which involves using compressed air. Once the blowout is complete, we leave the system components at a 45-degree angle. This is to ensure that in case any other contractor or outside interference happens to turn the water back on, the components at a 45-degree angle will release water and give them an indication that something is wrong. We also put the caps back on to prevent them from going missing, which could cost our clients additional money to replace them at the time of start-up in the springtime.

Love the Creek! Its great mixed with the zen dryscape garden! All it needs a few more mature larger shrubs and maybe some larger boulders at the "headwaters" to that natural disguise so it looks even more natural.

And the lightning doesn't even need to strike you directly to inflict damage. It has an AoE around the strike point.

0:32 --- turn the playback speed to 0.25 ------ the moment the lightning strikes ----- everyone listen to this sound. it sounds like the most gnarly heavy metal riff intro ever. the vibration of energy creates a massive musical piece.

Or, you could put up a lightning rod to protect your people and your equipment. Looks like it's FLAT land with no TALL structures. Can easily be rectified with a lightning rod on a small tower.

Yeah… 30 years ago while visiting a business associate in the hills above Tucson, we’re sitting by his pool on the patio, watching the battleship clouds roll in: just then lightning strikes one of his Saguaros by the back wall - think shotgun going off inches from your ear. The saguaro didn’t make it 😪

And why did he act like he got directly hit with the lightning bolt? Workmans Comp!! Dude was Ready for this day. Sure it was loud and startling but to fake a leg injury and the lay down like he got shot was just overly dramatic. Seriously 😐
@sunshine39143 жыл бұрын
@@traviswright3343 Seriously, stfu. Obviously you’ve never been that close to where lightning has struck. He was likely wearing steel toe footwear & had iron-rich blood. Folks have experienced numbness for days afterwards without being directly hit. The sound & the flash of lightning is pretty overwhelming whenever you’re that close. And if he had ever been struck before, his reaction was 💯 justified.
@1koaks6803 жыл бұрын
@@traviswright3343 Man you're a dumbass. Where do you think that electricity goes when it touches ground. Like the dude who replied to you said he probably had some steel toes on which would explain why his leg seemed to be hurt. I like that you find it feasible that in a fraction of a second someone would process that lightning had struck near them and to capitalize on the situation they should immediately pretend their leg got hurt. Fuck outa here LOL.
@jeremymarlow18023 жыл бұрын
The lightning hit the truck and the current went through the trailer the guy was definitely hit by the current. He wasn't faking anything
