I went during winter, early of this year. However, the theme park was closed in winter. But the view was fantastic from the top. Watching your video makes me wanting to revisit this place.

Could you please share how do you buy the train and bus tickets? How many hours to spend in the zoo? I'm planning to squeeze in Furano ningle terrace in my day trip from sapporo.
@HiroTravel1236 күн бұрын
I booked the train from this official website. www.jrhokkaido.co.jp/global/ You don't need to make a reservation for the bus from the station. When you arrive at Asahikawa Station by train, just go to the bus stop in front of the station and wait in line. Time table is here www.asahikawa-denkikidou.jp/schedule/zoo-airport-timetable/# I think I spent about four hours in the zoo. As you can see, it was very snowy and difficult to walk. Enjoy your trip

hai, for basic fare, can we just tap ic card in the gate ? when you buy a basic fare ticket you choose 760 is that time or price?
@HiroTravel12311 күн бұрын
Yes, you can get on a regular train by tapping with your IC card at the ticket gate. However, if you want to ride the express trains "Aoniyoshi" or "Vista Car," you must buy an express ticket in addition to the 760 yen. I had bought my express ticket online in advance, so I only bought a 760 yen ticket there There is an information desk next to the ticket vending machine, so you can buy the express ticket there. A regular train takes 47 minutes, but an express train takes 34 minutes. In fact, the time spent on the train is not so different. I know it is very difficult to buy train tickets in a foreign country, but I hope you enjoy your trip to in Japan. Good Luck! If I board the bus from Kyoto station, then is it possible to choose 2nd floor seats? Ive tried with the website, but only have 1st floor as an option😢
@HiroTravel12311 күн бұрын
Hi, Farah I just tried it and it seems like I can reserve a seat upstairs. It's hard to explain using only text, but I'd be happy if you could understand. ①www.kousokubus.net/JpnBus/en/ ②From Kyoto to Tokyo ③Route (Daytime Bus ) Tokyo ⇔Kyoto/Osaka ④※Choose Bus Stop at Kyoto Fukakusa. If you select Kyoto Station, it will not work. ⑤And select either Shinjuku Bus Terminal or Tokyo Station as your destination. ⑥The name of the bus is "Gran Hiru Tokkyu 2" All other buses are not double-deckers. Maybe ⑦And then enter the date. This bus is extremely popular and quickly fills up with reservations. ⑧Then, when you click on the discount ticket, you can select your seat next. The seats at the very front on the second floor are always popular. It seems that reservations are taken a month in advance. However, it is a little inconvenient when you consider that the boarding point is NOT Kyoto Station 06:45 I understand that making a reservation abroad can be very difficult. Anyway, I wish you good luck, and I hope you enjoy your trip in Japan! Another choice ( Platt- Kodama) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hJmGnNKK2Mq3mqs.htmlsi=9L9rHUa-FWWs-0jp The route between Tokyo and Nagoya was relatively uncrowded. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZ2aftKVmdvGpJs.htmlsi=3untAwOSDffBpAzp

Poor Hiro, always alone. I'm going to Japan in October, so if You want, we can go out for a beer or sake (preferably on the Yamanote line), but don't call it a date, I'm a middle-aged, heterosexual man from Central Europe! ;) PS. I love trains, but this view is a bit scary, it reminds me of a nightmare: I'm crossing the railway tracks, suddenly I can't feel my legs, and can't move and I hear a loud "choo-choo". Then I wake up immediately.

3:13 Did they not post train schedules? I feel like you could have saved time by knowing when it would pass. 3:37 That lady moving the furniture while barefoot is the most gangster thing ever. 4:07 How did you feel seeing a train that old? Those old diesel engine trains are probably in museums in Japan. 11:21 That is a lot of lemon for a bowl of Pho that size. 20:12 Is that Anthony Bourdain with Obama?
@HiroTravel123Ай бұрын
Thanks ins Of course I love high-speed trains like the Shinkansen in Japan, but I also love antique diesel trains. The main reason I came to Vietnam in the first place was to take this diesel sleeper train! I don't know who Anthony Bourdain is, but at least he seems to know more about Vietnamese cuisine than I do!
