The Trailer itself seems Low Budget af.

I called it spamming because If you can cancel out any move into a dodge or parry there no reason for you to not spam attack button. There is no reason for you to learn enemy moveset and patterns. You just press dodge/parry any time, any moment you see an enemy swing at you. Which can be fun as a reaction based game, but also it's kinda no-brainer game. That's why DMC expects you to style on your enemies, because combat is no-brainer. They put a Style Challenge on you. While with souls games you need to think "can I land my attack before he lands his", "do I have enough poise to tank through", "oh, he is doing this attack, so if I roll to his left, he can't hit with his second attack and I can land 2 attacks instead of 1 in that window, and I'll still have enough endurance to safely retreat". Once you make a move, you commit to it. I still have issues with ER coding - when you attack, while in that attack state it assigns your first input as the next move, and it can't be overwritten. If I was coding ER - I'd make it so it would assign your latest input during that state as your next move. It would be more reactionary.

i understand being disappointed but from what I heard seems like they wanted to do 3d way before the 4th game but had issues and it never came it seems like a dream that’s been wanted in the company for years and they finally got it all we can say is don’t lose hope and let’s see what happens u never know if it’s bad or good I mean look at mk and street fighter they was different and now 3d and got more success just give them time and we might see something but it’s also not good to hold on to the old and not be ready for the new sometimes a old formula doesn’t always work streets 3 almost ended things back then so fact we got more after that is being grateful period.
