Nice job--love it! I'm thinking about doing the same thing. My floor is vinyl peel and stick and really ugly. Some is damaged, however, so I might have to replace those tiles first. Anyway, I have one question--did you use the semi-gloss or the matte? It looks like semi gloss to me--and that makes sense. Would be easier to clean. How's the floor holding up, btw? Thanks!

So to each his own and al that, but I agree the kitchen was really nice before and ppl pay a lot for natural stone like that granite. It looks very sanitized all white. Idk I think just go with classic because fads come and go. Looked good in the end too, just not my cuppa

Did the baseboards on the floor create a problem? It looks like you glued on top of them.

We just etched out little notches to go over the baseboards, but it would have been MUCH easier to just remove the baseboard altogether!

we just found out we are having a baby boy as well! this is our third 🫶🏼 love how his space is turning out. you could always paint the outlets to match the blue too so they don’t stick out

I"m just curious what's wrong with that kitchen? It doesn't look too terrible to me. Maybe outdated a bit but those cabinets look like high quality sturdy wood and not a terrible layout. idk though since I haven't seen it in person. Although I will say your improvements did make it better.

It's definitely outdated, and the cabinets are quite the opposite (faux wood, poorly put together). Overall was just not a very loved kitchen prior and the house was sitting empty for quite some time!

Definitely can have a yellow/greenish tint at some points, but I think that's because it reflects heavily off of the large green tree leaves outside of our window! Our bedroom is really the only room I've noticed this in, and we have this color in rooms all over the house.
