I come from Brighton and this is the ugliest most moronic eyesore on which money has been totally wasted by a profligate local council. Wait till it begins to deteriorate, get unsafe. Rebuilt the old pier and bring back history to our town.Working abroad I despair of the stupidity that allows infantile councils to waste tax payers money instead or really bettering the city...and what can you see - nothing of any real interest.

went on it and noticed coffee was £3.20 while we waited.. someone missed a trick they shudda charged £3.60 felt mugged that it didn't go all the way to the top after paying £17 you could pay up to £90+ to go on the roof and walk around and hang by a rope.. plus you'd need a second mortgage to buy a drink on it.. but the views were ok..👍

Jewish lightning has taken too much from Brighton, especially the piers, so let's hope it leaves this feature alone.

It is difficult if not impossible to imagine or understand this scatterbrained and profligate use of public money. Given that now in 2023 it is a huge white elephant, perhaps its function could be improved by altering it from its so called dough ball ascending and descending slowly to it going up like a rocket, pausing for a few minutes at the top to view the rooftops of Brighton, "Coo, what a sight" and then dropping like a stone. That would scare the hell out of me but think of the thrill seeking adrenalin junkies who would love it and come back time and again for more. Maybe the white elephant could then turn a profit, but I doubt it.

If they’d built it on the nearby south downs then perhaps the view to France 70 miles away would’ve been possible ! I believe one can see the high ground beyond Cherbourg from the IOW but only from up the Rowridge TV Tansmitter which would be over a 1000ft above sea level. I wanna go up there for sure 😁

It surely reminds me of the days I've gone travel to the Edinburgh about 2 yrs ago, escaping from all the reality I had to face. just chilled on the arthur seat with a single ice cream, tryna leave the bad memories back in my country. I still can't believe how that short trip has changed my life

Although you made this some time ago it is good to see the set up. It has helped me adapt one also for my ST3 which is the same as yours. Although its not a high security device it is indeed a visual deterrent and buys you time. The more you can add as a layer of security the longer it takes them to remove and that's more risk of being seen or caught. interested to see the next one you made if you still have it. anyway thanks for the upload :)

Thank you for this video. I've decided to have a final scene of my novel's climax up there, and your video is exactly what I need. I've never been to Holyrood Park, so I was struggling to imagine a clear route from the road up to the Arthur's Seat - and I wanted it to be accurate. Now it will be. Cheers RS Focus 435!

So the longer rectangular one you had left over is for the bottom of the center console. The trapezoid shaped one is for the dash bezel for the 4” screen versions because they have a deeper inset than the 8” screens. No clue on the small square one, though🤔 over here in the states (I assume this is why), the lower rear seat storage bins are smaller (at least for the SE models) and the front door card slots have cup holder molds so that one doesn’t fit either, same with the center console cup holders. I ended up having 7 that I couldn’t use.

Is it difficult to climb? Does it require full gear and training in order to climb and not for amateur?
@stardomee2 жыл бұрын
a pair any hiking boots or sports shoes will do, no training is required and you can stop as many times as you like along the way - it's not a walk in the park but it is very doable - after all, this is hill of around 250 metres high, not a mountain - I was there last week on a Sunday, lots of walkers around, even kids and dogs

When I bought my Grand C-Max it already came with ClimAir Wind Deflectors. It looks great but I have to be honest and say that I removed them on my car. Except for the design feature - like I said, I think it looks nice - I don´t really see the purpose of those things. First of all - and that is the biggest disadvantage - when you drive with your windows closed - and that is approximately 99,8% of the time - then those deflectors will cause more wind noise when driving with closed windows. In addition: What is the point of having these if they only have an effect with open windows? I mean, you never drive with open windows at highway-speed, and 99,8% off all cars nowadays have Aircon or Climate control, hence if it gets too hot in summer, you just turn up (down) for the climate control. I understand those who mount the deflectors for design reasons, but they are useless for anything else in my opinion and I just got MEGA-tired of the wind noise they cause.

If you have a car with a great exhaust sound then you want to drive with your windows open + i rather have fresh air instead of airconditioning. :-)
@sukhmaidickoff Жыл бұрын
@@Elspidi4ever In my opinion wind noise gets unbearable and just too loud when you drive over 60 km/h. But again.....each to their own :-)
