They have no choice. And it's good that Georgian people can cope with living in rural areas Why don't they take cuttings from the same trees they cut? It does not take much time from them. Maybe 2 out of every 5 cuttings will become trees that will restore and preserve nature. That way they won't feel guilty.

Thank you. Firstly, I am concerned that the US energy transition is heavily based on incentives or is it subsidy. I think a market driven approach will fit the purpose more because people in other parts of the world would find live and livelihood from growing crops for example. Also, the vocational training and shift from traditional energy is a hit. God bless.

I think it’s a pretty healthy model. Importantly as mentioned the incorporation into school’s curriculum is vital.

If green energy was cheaper then all the energy companies all over the world will implement it with zero government intervention. But this does not happen because it isn't cheaper.

Of course the green energy is vastly more expensive. You need 100% back up for when the green tech isn't working.

Russia did not cut off the gas supply to Germany. Germany refused to buy from Russia as part of the sanctions and then the USA blew UP nordstream 2.

I really like what the Minister of International Development and Minister of Nordic Cooperation, Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, said in this session: Increasing funding for clean cooking in Africa is not a matter of charity, but an investment.

The IEA has no solutions to the complex problems. Keep paying us all more and we'll keep on NOT being able to plot a way forward. We don't have a clue but we'll keep investigating from our comfort in Paris. YAWN!

at the end he says green energy is secure energy as evidenced by Europe. Okay, but you are smoking the same stuff hunter biden is on. England has tons of natural gas and tons of coal that the parliament simply wont allow england to go use. All the greenies run Germany electric, and in the first year of Russia in ukraine, Germany refired up coal plants, nuke plants, and was buying natural gas for 50 times what it sells for here in america. If there is one thing about green energy, it Fcked up all of europe, and only france who kept their plants from the 70's going was able to survive. Germany was given a choice and they brought back coal plants and retired nuke plants for electricity..... Because they had fudged up so bad. However, they are willing to burn coal for electric if it prevents riots. I know someone who used to run germany that did better with electric than their current government. I do NOT SEE what is wrong with german politicians today

Wind and solar energy can be distributed energy systems producing power locally in communities. Huge Centralized power stations are old technology and easy to disrupt. Decentralized wind and solar energy will be much more reliable.

Trees are a RENEWABLE resource! What isnt renewable are ORGANOIDS! Organoids are stem cells taken from human embryos and used as bioprocessors to power AI. This is happening at the University of Michigan NOW! Unbelievable and downright EVIL!

There is no future for Lithium in the EV and battery market due to poor range for EVs, the substantial fire risk and rising costs. CATL the major EV battery manufacturer is now replacing it by sodium whereas Toyota and others are shortly going to introduce solid state batteries based on other metals. The major shortages are going to be in the rare earths, copper and aluminum required to build out national power grids to the needed three times current capacity and the reach to collect the wind power and handle local distribution for charging EVs as well as the wind power generators that will need replacing due to their low life cycle. When you work out how that is going to be achieved you can write a report that means something.

Riding a bicycle is a great way to exercise. Ebikes are bringing many older adults back to cycling. Cities need to do more to encourage people to ride bicycles. Safe protected bike lanes and trails are needed so adults and children can ride safely. Speak up for bicycles in your community. Bicycles make life and cities better. Ask your local transportation planner and elected officials to support more protected bike lanes and trails. Children should be riding a bicycle to school and not be driven in a minivan. Be healthier and happier. Ride a bicycle regularly.

Every home and business should install a rain water collection and storage system along with solar panels and an electric vehicle charger in the garage. Even in areas where rain is infrequent it is crazy to waste the little rain that does fall and waste it. We need to stop planting green lawns and switch to local native plantings around homes. It is crazy to plant lawns and build golf courses in dry desert areas. We waste too much water and electricity. the future is electric. Wind and solar energy along with electric vehicles are the future. Stop using fossil fuels. There is a climate crisis.

Power lines that upgrade to ceramic cores can throughput up to double the electricity, along existing right-of-way. Reconductoring needs to become a global standards, point of discussion. Easy money.

We must stop adding more fossil fuels to the Climate Fire. Floods, droughts, fires, extreme temperatures are all becoming more common. Time to go all in on wind and solar energy and all electric vehicles. How extreme does the weather have to get before people wake up and stop burning fossil fuels. Stop building coal power plants. Stop burning coal or natural gas for electricity. Wind and solar energy are the future. Politicians and corporations need to do more.

Yes thank you for this information. IEA is true to its mission. Since the emerging Countries are mostly heavy users of Fossil Fuels like Philippines is 80% supplied by Coal & Dsl Gensets we really need Investors & capital to flow in our country so we can advance the development of renewables in the country.
