Nice video guys... I agree regarding the electric hire cars. When returning a ICE one, I know I can fill it to 100% in a few mins, and never have to wait more than a few mins worst case for a pump. I have no interest in waiting maybe 45 mins, and be faced with the prospect of perhaps having to wait quite a while for a charger to become free. I know people will say this will solve itself once there are more chargers etc. but for the moment just give me a petrol hire car please - just too much stress returning an electric in an already stressful scenario at the airport.

Hi. It's a bit modified. Tyres are michelin cup 2. KW Clubs port suspension. Brembo gt brakes. Hr antiroll bars, supersprint exhaust (backbox only), rear roll cage along with Recaro seats and some weight reduction

@@cosworthpower5147 the original cup was a faster tyre compared to the cup 2 (I don't know how the cup 2 R does). The Pirelli Trofeo R is closer if not as good as the original cup but at least in my CSL I had very small tyre life on the Trofeo R. Just to give you an idea, the Cup 2 I can lap 1.24 at the 3.0km layout of Anneau Du Rhin and with the Trofeo R is 1.23, possibly 1.22.5. But the Cup 2 lasts 5-7 times more, so it's not worth it in my opinion.

@cosworthpower5147 the original cup was a much more sticky tyre. Treadwear was 80 while the cup 2 has 180 (?). True comparison would be with the cup 2r

Was the swing arm not salvageable? Did it have deep grooves/scratches in it, or bent/dented in some places?

It had several scratches. Mechanically it was ok.

I was running Michelin Cup 2s on that day (OEM dimensions 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rears). Mind you these tyres have done a lot of laps and kms in the street. When I removed that set I had done >400 laps at Anneau Du Rhin >30 at Monza >20 at the Nurburgring, 100 at Dijon 15k road kilometers ! In other words, the Cup 2 is a great tyre. In terms of absolute performance, the original Cup was better or the Pirelli Trofeo R is better, but they were not lasting as long. I went to the same track with the Pirello Trofeo R, same dimensions and it's ~1.5 secs faster. Thanks

Yes this year it was 15/42 with a 200/60/17 tyre. Meaning super long gearing. I am currently running 16/45 with the 200/60/17 tyre. Unfortunately I missed an opportunity to buy a YEC gearbox a couple of years ago

I did that connection to the number plate light and doesnt work only works under the tank with the brown plug with the yellow cable and the black plug with the dark grey cable red into yellow and green to dark grey cable

How much does your car weigh? I noticed that you braked very early. When I went to Monza, I braked at the 200-meter sign at a speed of 245 km/h. It was a Cayman GTS, model 981

The Cayman GTS is light by comparison and with great braking performance,l. Therefore it's normal that you can brake much later
