That would have been brilliant if they all came down at the same time XD, but the flume had a mechanism where if one train is already at the drop point, it would engage a safety latch which would block the underneath of the boat and stop it from moving

My favourite lighting on this ride but i don't think they use these lights no more are the red and green flashing lights on top of the gondola right on each corner near the arms. They used to be on at night they were like boat and aircraft navigation lights but they never seem to be on more.

There are enough bad things about both parks. And taste is different.

Well, there are operations (closing at 6pm is a joke), the lack of modern groundbreaking rides, the fact, that certain rides are a shadow of it's former self, the lack of space and money. I thought of wirting an all caps rant about the Nash, but you should know.... Both parks have their good and bad sides. When I finally go to BPB again, I'll enjoy it (atleast) as much as the Towers because both are different.

Unlike most Towers rides, Blackpool's have history (Flying Machines c.a.1904, the Woodies) , don't need pointless gimmicks (the Woodies), are landmarks (the Big One), unique (Steeplechase) and do not become "Meh", when the next ride of it's kind is built (the Woodies again). BPB doesn't have a marketing department, overhyping rides like there is no tomorrow (like 13) and needing new rides each year to get people inside the park. But BPB needs a new ride again, Towers can hope for SW7.
